UPDATE: We had to leave our house on the farm and are officially nomadic for 2 years. Thank you to all the wonderful people who enriched our life during our 7 years of being a host!! Maybe we will see some of you again and maybe we will find new people in 2 years time when we might get comfy in a settled spot again :D

We can give you a very loving and open environment and you can learn about natural child raising, homeschooling or freeschooling, vegan cooking, music (my husband is in a band and I jodel, sing choir and opera and just generally love music), sewing, crafting, preserving, baking, Permaculture/no dig gardening, Biodiversity.
I love to spend time on our land and around our home or walking /hiking, geocaching, biking and taking trips around Switzerland and enjoy the breathtaking nature here 😊 Since we started a family I am also actively downsizing/minimizing waste and doing things ourselves (clothes, food, household products etc.) for 10 years now, have less - live more! -

-Babysitting (occasionally when I need to work or you are very good with the children, however this is very dependable on the connection we make/the children make with you)
-Permaculture/no dig garden and acre and surrounding projects (like wood chopping, pond work, woodwork, weeding, planting, lawn mowing, watering or occasional heavy tasks can also arise)
-Housework (washing, cleaning, maybe cooking although that is usually my domain 😉 , preserving, handcrafts, food production)
-Walk and/or groom and cuddle our doggy and kitties 🐶 🐱
-Occasional farm help may arise as we always help our farmer Simon when he needs us -

Private room and bathroom for all workawayers to share or some flexible sleeping arrangements depending on the season. But I always strive to make everyone as comfortable as possible :)

I am more than happy to assist you with any trips you would like to do, drive you to the closest station if I have time. I am really flexible and helpful if you need my help with something we can always talk about it! There is so much to do in the immediate natural surrounding as well as in Switzerland as a country. So I am sure you will not get bored :D
