  We run a campsite in the beautiful Mecklenburg Lake district. The campsite is located between the Stechlin Ruppiner Land Nature Park and the Mecklenburg Kleinseenplatte and 8km from Fürstenberg/Havel. Our guests in the summer are mainly families with young children. Since we are only a 1.5-hour drive from Berlin, many families originate from Berlin. In addition, we also have Guests from the regions around Dresden, Leipzig, and Hamburg. On our campsite we run a small health food store and a cafe where we serve homemade pies and coffee beverages made with a professional espresso machine. Currently we are building two new sanitary blocks. The buildings are built with sustainable materials like wood, hemp, and adobe.
  
  We are hiring! Currently we are looking for someone at the reception for the months July and August. Command of the german language spoken and written is a prerequisite for this position. Computer-savvy is also helpfull.

  In the summer we have really a really nice atmosphere on the campsite. Our guests are mainly german or from the different nationalities who are living in Berlin. Our staff is also mainly german apart from me and my husband (we are dutch). After your work you can go swimming in one of the many lakes or use one of our canoes or kayaks to explore the lakes. In the evening you can join our guests and sit at the bonfire at our beach if there is no wildfire hazard.

  Ajuda

  At the present moment we are looking for people who are interested in working on our grounds doing basic gardening jobs. You need to have stamina for this work and be able to work independently. You also have to be able to drive our small tractor with a trailer or learn it really quickly. We pay minimum wage (at the moment €12,40/hour).
  Please note: If you are not a EU citizen, you can only come and work for us if you have a valid work permit.

  Depending on when you are coming and how long you stay, we provide housing in one of our huts (outside the summer holidays if available), in one of our caravans or in your own tent or campervan if you come for a short time in the summertime.

  We are about 8 km from the nearest trainstation. Once every hour a train leaves for Berlin and it takes 1 hour to get to Berlin central station. And once every hour a train leaves for Rostock.
  It is helpfull if you have a bike while you are here (We do have some old bikes, that might need some attention in order to work). The nearest shops are also in Fürstenberg.
  We are very close to the Stechlin. The biggest clear water lake in the north of Germany. (Very nice for swimming) The trail to the lake runs through the nature reserve Stechlin-Ruppiner Land.
