I had 3 fantastic weeks. The Brittany is breathtaking and a great place to relax in peace surrounded by cliffs, forests and with the possibility to stop by the sea!! … read more and being with them was a pleasure!! The days passed quietly, with the children at school and Chloe at work me and my little girl had the chance to explore the surroundings. In the afternoon when they returned if possible we spent the afternoon at the park and the evening passed very quickly with the children playing, lots of laughter and really good meals!! (Chloè is a really good cook, and now I have a new favourite dish). Nidhira and her daughter Olivia spent just over 3 weeks at our home while Morgann was away. Everything went really well! They immediately found their place in the house and in the family.
During the week, Nidhira was a great help, looking after the children at the end of the day, during my way back from work, and while I prepared dinner
… read more afterwards. Despite her already busy days, every evening she took the time to wash the dishes and tidy up the living room! What energy!
At the weekend, she and her daughter went off on their own to explore the surrounding area.
Olivia is a happy child, full of energy. I have no regrets at all about choosing to take her in with her mother, because Nidhira's parenting principles have turned her into a polite and respectful little girl.
I wish them all the best for the rest of their WorkAway experience! You can welcome them into your home with complete confidence. My only regret is that I wasn't able to spend more time with Nidhira because we were often caught up in our responsibilities as mothers. This young woman deserves to be met!

I’ve spent the most incredible two weeks with this lovely family. I’ve felt welcomed from the moment Morgann picked me up at the train station until the day I left. Chloe and Morgann are the kind of people with whom you feel pure joy while talking to them and spending time together. They are really kind, always helpful and full of spirit and life.
… read more I had a lot of fun playing with Soane and Liam, no matter if it was hide and seek in the garden, an imaginary hospital in the living room, or just some board games. Talking to Loeiza was like sharing feelings and experiences with one of my friends. She is a nice and interesting girl, and I really liked to spend time with her.
I felt like a part of the family and was never excluded. We always ate together and had a lot of different topics to talk about. The whole family, even Soane, helped me to improve my French, and I really appreciated it. :) Thank you!
I was stunned by the nature around their place. If you like to spend time outside, this place is perfect for you. It's like you’re walking in a wonderland. And if you want some company while taking a walk, Thea (one of the cutest dogs I ever met) will always join you.
It was hard to leave their place because the family really grew on me, and I would be happy to meet them again one day. They exceeded all expectations.

J'ai passé les deux semaines les plus incroyables avec cette charmante famille. Je me suis sentie accueillie depuis le moment où Morgann est venue me chercher à la gare jusqu'au jour de mon départ. Chloé et Morgann sont le genre de personnes avec lesquelles on ressent une joie pure lorsqu'on leur parle et qu'on passe du temps ensemble. Elles sont vraiment gentilles, toujours serviables et pleines d'esprit et de vie. J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à jouer avec Soane et Liam, qu'il s'agisse de cache-cache dans le jardin, d'un hôpital imaginaire dans le salon ou simplement de jeux de société. Parler à Loeiza, c'était comme partager des sentiments et des expériences avec l'une de mes amies. C'est une fille gentille et intéressante, et j'ai vraiment aimé passer du temps avec elle.
Je me sentais comme un membre de la famille et je n'étais jamais exclu. Nous mangions toujours ensemble et nous avions beaucoup de sujets de conversation différents. Toute la famille, même Soane, m'a aidée à améliorer mon français et j'ai vraiment apprécié :) Merci !
J'ai été stupéfaite par la nature qui entoure leur maison. Si vous aimez passer du temps à l'extérieur, cet endroit est parfait pour vous. C'est comme si vous vous promeniez dans un pays des merveilles. Et si vous voulez un peu de compagnie pendant votre promenade, Thea (l'un des chiens les plus mignons que j'aie jamais rencontrés) se joindra toujours à vous.
J'ai eu du mal à quitter leur maison parce que la famille a vraiment grandi en moi, et je serais heureuse de les rencontrer à nouveau un jour. Ils ont dépassé toutes les attentes.

I can only repeat what has already been said in the other feedbacks: My stay in Brittany has been great and a good opportunity to get to know life of a French family and spend relaxing time in the countryside.
During the weekdays I'd always pick Soane up from school and spend some time with her in the parc before we'd go home and I'd support Chloé
… read more and Morganne in taking care of the children until it was time for bed. I also liked to cook some dishes from time to time and work in the garden, i. e. chopping up branches or weeding.
Until the late afternoon I could organise my time independently and benefitted from long walks with Theia, reading good French books and sleeping in :) On the weekends I could explore nearby cities and was also welcome to join a family supper.

Chloé, Morgann, Loeiza, Soane and Liam accepted me directly into their family and I felt very welcomed there.
When I started my workaway, the new school year was just beginning. Therefore, my daily routine was to pick Soane up after school and play with her for some time. In the evening, I would
… read more read her a story from time to time and help put her to bed. In addition, I cleaned up the kitchen after dinner and did the dishes. In the mornings I did little things in and around the house, but apart from that I had most of the time for myself.
In my free time I often went for walks with the dog.
On weekends, I explored nearby towns and accompanied the family on excursions.
I highly recommend getting in touch with Chloé, if you want to experience a true family life in the bretonic countryside. It will be awesome!

… read more stop, on my days off they would drive me to the station and offer their guidance for my day activities in the different towns I visited. The area of Gran Bretañe has some of the best views I have ever seen, and if you enjoy nature and peace this is the place for you.
I spent a lot of time with Soane, she is a lovely, loving and very intelligent girl. Liam, the little baby of the house will make you fall in love with his smiles every day. Loiza is an independent girl, I don't speak French, but she tried to communicate with me always. Morgan and Chloé are very nice people, they are excellent cooks and prepare very healthy food. The room is very comfortable, independent and cosy.

I stayed with Chloe, Morganne, Loeiza, Soane and Liam for 3 weeks over the school summer holidays. They are a lovely family and immediately made me feel at home. Chloé and Morganne are both great people with plenty of interests and travel stories. Loeiza is great, Liam is a lovely, smiley baby, Soane is so funny and loves to play.

Chloé and Morganne are great chefs and I was always invited for meals every day and invited to extended family meals/ parties. They were always available to help and were very patient with my limited French! They were very generous with helping me try to improve as well.
The house and garden are beautiful.
I loved walking the dog and having the chickens and cat there. The area of Bretagne is beautiful. Like it says in the description, the village is a 20min drive to the nearest town or bus to visit other areas but they were happy to drive me whenever I wanted to go somewhere. Otherwise, I was very happy staying in and around the house because there are so many great walks from the front door.
