My name is Talgat, but everybody callin me Tal. I am the manager of volunteers of the mountain ski & snowboard resort. For me this is a real place of power. Come and see.
We have more then hundred paid staff( international PGI company). Office and service departments. We plan to involve workawayers in the areas of resort development, public,eco-environmental, renovation projects.Our resort is located in the foothills of the Trans-Ili Alatu. The workawayers base is located on the territory of the high-mountain ice skating rink Medeo, 1690 m above sea level. The area of our resort covers the territory from Medeo to the highest point of the Talgar pass 3200 m above sea level. From slender Tianshan firs, pines and birches to alpine meadows and eternally cold glaciers in just 35 minutes you can get in a CABLE CAR CABIN FOR FREE.
In Kazakhkstan ALL DRUGS are illegal we kindly ask you to not bring that to appartment or at the resort.

Travelers can study the peculiarities of the language of Turkic-speaking peoples (Kazakhs, Kirghiz, Uzbeks, Turks, etc.), as well as the life and traditions of nomads in eco-villages on the territory of the resort.
Also travellers can try treat themselves with SKIING & SNOWBOARDING OVER OUR RESORT SLOPES. Hiking trips in winter snow mountains.

This program is aimed at improving the service for guests at our resort. Also for advertising our high-mountain ski resort around the world.
Our workawaers have a UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY to Living within a national park. They can use our FREE OF CHARGE ACCOMODATION and SKI PASS to our gondola and all chear-lifts day and night time throughout all winter season. We have a VOLUNTEERS ROOM at the resort for rest,equipped with a few sofa,e-cattle,microwave oven a.t.c.
We will be glad if workawaers will help us 5 days (3 hours per shift) a week and 2 days off.
Time you declared related to the high season in our resort. We're all working hard during this time, so we need to be sure you'll be a truly effective helper. You'll need to confirm your ability to perform heavy-duty work, such as shoveling snow and moving heavy metal, plastic, and wooden objects.
We also require a 3-hour shift, but this time can be staggered. This means, for example, you'll work 1 hour from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., 1 hour during lunch, and 1 hour from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This means you'll be at the resort all day time if its day shift OR, if it's a night shift, from 6pm till 11.30 pm we should be sure that can relay on you.( WE HAVE A DISCOUNT FOR STAFF IN RESTAURANT AT THE RESORT)
We also have jobs that require 3 hours of continuous work(THIS CAN BE SUITABLE FOR LADIES), and WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO GIVE YOU DAYS OFF WHEN IT IS CONVENIENT FOR US AND WE CAN CHANGE DATES OF YOUR DAYS OFF IN LAST MOMENT.
Winter season targets.
1. Help with cleaning or changing beds in our glam camp
2. Cleaning territory of the camp from snow.
3.Installation of a children's park with toys in the morning and safety nets from 8 am to 9 am.
4.Assembly of a children's park with toys and safety nets from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm
5.Control of order during the passage of the flow of guests through the turnstile at the cable car station.
6.Participation in projects and holiday events of the resort, organized by the marketing department (distribution of advertising booklets, hospice, participation in guest registration, participation in performance events)
8.Cleaning resort territories and routs from snow.
Summer season targets.
1. Help with cleaning or changing beds in our glam camp.
2. Gardening in our glamcamp and at the resort area also.
3. Participation in projects and holiday events of the resort, organized by the marketing department (distribution of advertising booklets, hospice, participation in guest registration, participation in performance events)
4. Cleaning tourist trails and places under the cable car routes from debris.
6. DIY and building projects
Winter season targets.
1. Help with cleaning or changing beds in our glam camp
2. Cleaning territory of the camp from snow.
3.Installation of a children's park with toys in the morning and safety nets from 7.30 am to 9 am.

6.Promotion of the event (advertising of the rope park and other resort activities)

We can sharing kazakh and russian languge with workwayers
Acomodação
Accomodation for workawayers free of charge. There is a shared bedroom with 4 beds (for ladies) in our hostel and in next bulding is a shared bedroom with 6 beds( for man)
There is also a room - a studio combined with a kitchen.
In the kitchen, volunteers will be able to cook their own food. We have an electric kettle, gas stove, microwave oven, refrigerator and washing machine.
We also have a toilet and a separate bathroom with bathtub.
We plan to use our workawayers no more than 15 hours a week. For example, 3 days a week for 5 hours a day or 5 days a week 3 hours a day.

WINTER TIME
We give worawayers a FREE VIP SKIPASS on the day when they help us at the resort during the day and on night skiing days.
On the territory of the resort we have a room for workawayers where they can rest and eat their food and leave their equipment (skis, boards) there.
We CAN'T PROVIDE FOR OUR WORKAWAYERS SKIING AND SNOW BOARDING EQUIPMENT and we dont have any ideas where you can get equipment, use internrt serfing please.
SUMMER TIME
Also, in their free time,our workawayers could enjoy the nature of our resort with many mountain lakes and relict plants. Go mountaineering, or visit our famous Charyn Canyon and high-mountain lakes Kolsai and Kaindy.
Friends, we only ask you to take all the necessary hiking equipment (tents, portable gas burners, sleeping bags, etc.) with you.
Our hostel is not far from the city, there is a constant bus. The city has developed infrastructure. There are restaurants, snack bars, pubs, nightclubs, and wine shops with wines from local and foreign grape varieties. The markets and bazaars have a huge selection of local cheap fruits and vegetables. Museums, theaters. Near the hostel there is a small grocery store with ready-made food and drinks, and there are also many different coffee shops and snack bars nearby.
