Our Orchard is a candy store for KANGAROOS......on sunset they come in to feed on the lush green grass....
We border John Forrest National Park so if your into hiking there is some beautiful hiking trails......
If your into bike riding the mountain bike trails are endless.
Some great times to visit our Organic Farm are:
Feb, March, April - Olive picking....Pear picking time
August September - Orchard Pruning and general maintenance
October November December- swimming... Plum, fig and apricot picking....
If you have experience and passion for horses there is opportunities to help with the horses.
These are just a few of the experiences to be had with us at POP ......

Hello.......We invite you to come and experience our organic farm.............we are a Certified Organic Pear and Stone Fruit Orchard in the Beautiful Perth Hills. We also farm Marron and breed, train and race pacers so we have a diverse range of experiences and opportunities ....
Our orchard is a candy shop for kangaroo's, of an evening on sunset walking through the orchard you will see many wild kangaroos.
The farm is close enough however to Perth (only 40 minutes to Perth City) so is easy for day trips....
We are a family of four Tarnyia and Robert and two children 9 & 11..

For one or two people accomadation would be in the main house with shared meals.
If you are travelling as a family or a group of friends more than two, with a camper trailer or tent you are welcome to camp on the property with shared meals in the main house and use of facilities.

The Perth Hills are a wonderful place to explore with the Swan Vally and Mundaring town and Mundaring Weir and Kalamunda not far. York, Northam and Toodyay are also only a short drive. Perth city is also only 40 minutes from us and there is some access to public transport.
John Forrest National park is at our doorstep.

Flo and Theo were a pleasure to have stay with us.
Great to work with on at the farm. Easy to have around with a "can do attitude"
And we where glad we could help them get some work ....when they left.
Defiantly recommend them to anyone looking for a happy couple.

We had such a lovely stay ! We stayed two weeks and a half at the farm, living with Herminio, Rob’s father, who is 92 years old, who speaks french Italian and English (such a lovely man!!).

This was my first workaway experience and I earned some nice new skills! I stayed for 2 weeks, mostly mowing with the whipper snipper around the trees Rob couldn't reach with his mower. I spent almost three weeks on the farm. The work is not too hard. Very peaceful area. Perfect place for exploring Australian nature.Close to the national park and relatively to the city. Hosts are very friendly.

Had a really great time at Tarnyia and Rob's place. It was the first place where we stayed in Australia, and we really felt like at home. We shared some good moments with the girls, who are full of energy and had great fun with Harry at the farm.
