Hey, my name is Axel, I am 39 years old and am originally from Argentina. I live since 5 years in Fuerteventura, Corralejo. I fell in love with this place and bought an electric surf shop after travelling the world and living in Denmark for 2 years (I am partly Danish). I used to work in Google, but i quit after 5 years to follow my passion. I live happy here together with my girlfriend Sofia, our new born baby and our dog.
What I offer are adventures like jet surf, e-foiling, sea scooters, SUP and wing foiling lessons.
The skills I am looking for:
For the electric surf and foil company I require instructors therefor good experience in any board water sports or snowboard is relevant and necessary.
Corralejo is a small city, but full of life. You can walk across it in 15 minutes, which also means you have most things in a short reach. It is a very relaxing atmosphere where you have plenty of sun and 7 rain days a year. It's a place where you can go to a restaurant in flip flop, relax, dance and do a lot of sports. Most people speak English here, but to help me it would be necessary to manage some basic Spanish.

I will teach you about the sports we offer. You can travel Fuerteventura and/or visit the other beautiful Canary islands during your free time.

We’re a small, passionate water sports team based in Fuerteventura, looking for energetic people to join us!
We love working with people who have experience in surf, e-foil, foil, or other board sports (including snowboarding) — ideally, you feel confident helping others and sharing your passion as an instructor or assistant.
Beyond the water, we also really appreciate creative minds who enjoy bringing new ideas — whether that’s helping promote the shop (through hotels, tourist centers, or social media), assisting with construction or small maintenance projects, or simply keeping the shop running smoothly and making guests feel welcome.
You should feel comfortable speaking English and Spanish, and other languages like Italian or French are always a plus.
💡 Important:
This is a paid position, and we provide the relevant employment contracts, payslips, and social security contributions in accordance with Spanish labor laws.
We can only accept EU citizens or people who already have the legal right to work in Spain.

You can do kite surfing, surfing, wing foiling, wind surf, surf skate, salsa, bachata, kizomba, yoga, meditation, gym, party, hike, bike, travel in a van, swim in the ocean 1 minute walk from where you live, tan the year around, meet a lot of cool people.

Corralejo is one of the biggest meet up for digital nomads. The island and city is full of co working spaces. The common spaces like kitchen and toilet in the apartment will be shared with maximum 2 other persons. It is also okay to work from the shop.
Espaço para estacionar campervans
There is a free parking just where we live, 5 minutes walk from the shop and 4 minutes walk from the city center. Fuerteventura is perfect to travel in a van. Even we have a van.
