  I'm Tina and I live in a traditional Catalan farmhouse in a quiet rural area.
  
  I'm currently looking for a couple who would enjoy becoming part of life on a small farmhouse in the middle of nature. (1st to 15 septembre) Last minut!
  
  During this period, I'll be preparing the beginning of the school year and studying for some important exams, so I'm looking for independent, proactive people who feel comfortable taking the initiative.
  
  The main tasks would involve restoring the roof of a small cottage, carrying out some repair work in the garden, helping to move and rearrange furniture, and preparing meals.
  
  DIY skills are not essential, but they would definitely be a plus.
  
  Life here is simple and closely connected to nature, so I'm looking for people who enjoy rural life, are practical and don't need constant supervision.
  
  If you like animals, manual work, cooking and quiet places surrounded by forests, and enjoy having a small pool ("piscineta") to cool off in during the warmer months, you will probably enjoy your stay here.
  
  Spanish is preferred for daily communication, as it makes coordination easier on a day-to-day basis, but it is not a requirement. If you don’t speak Spanish, it is not a problem at all.

  The volunteers can learn practical skills related to everyday tasks, rural living and doing tasks together on shared projects. It is a hands-on experience where the volunteers can contribute in a meaningful way and see the progress made over time.
  
  They will also have the opportunity to experience a simple and calm lifestyle in the countryside, with time to disconnect from busy urban routines and connect with nature.
  
  The cultural exchange comes from sharing daily life in a rural home in Catalonia, including simple routines, meals and conversations, while respecting independence and personal space.

  Volunteers will help with simple, practical tasks around the farmhouse to support its gradual clearing and reorganisation.
  
  This may include:
  
  Sorting and clearing stored items
  Cleaning and tidying different areas of the house
  Painting some interior spaces
  
  The help is basic and does not require special skills, but it does require a practical attitude and willingness to get involved in everyday tasks.
  
  We usually do tasks in a relaxed way, focusing on one area at a time and adapting the pace depending on the day.

  It is a peaceful place, ideal for people who enjoy calm countryside living and a simple daily rhythm.
  
  The farmhouse is located a short distance from nearby villages, with access to public transport towards larger towns and Barcelona.

  Volunteers will have a private room with a double bed in a simple and comfortable farmhouse. The house is warm and basic, ideal for people who enjoy nature and a quiet rural environment.

  In summer, there is also a simple outdoor pool available for cooling off and relaxing after work.

  Barcelona (about 1.5–2 hours by public transport)
  The mountains and the sea are both within about 1 hour by car
