  We are a family of 6, which do not (yet) live permanently in beautiful southern Greece, more precisely the southern Peloponnese near Kalamata - and yet we manage our biodynamic olive groves for large parts of the year.
  But don't missunderstand me: Of course aren't professional farmers who addicted to our olives- it's a little bit a kind of hobby... but olives are a special hobby.
  The main campaign time is the olive harvest at the beginning of November, and we are always happy to receive active support.
  Since life is always about a balanced give and take, we can not only help with lots of insider tips and personal contacts on site, but also offer our cozy and fully equipped holiday apartment for free use during this period .
  However, due to many different food preferences, we do NOT offer all-inclusive catering.
  
  Location: We are in a secluded location with a breathtakingly beautiful view above Kalamata, but only 15 minutes from Kalamata's lively weekly market. The nearest sparkling clean beach with fantastic water (YES, you can still swim very well in November ;-)) is only 12 minutes by car.
  The apartment is located in the basement and can accommodate 2 adults and a child.

  wir sind eine insgesamt 6 köpfige Familie, welche aber (noch) nicht dauerhaft im wunderschönen Südgriechenland, genauer Südpeloponnes bei Kalamata, lebt- und trotzdem bewirtschaften wir unsere biologisch-dynamischen Olivenhaine über weite Teile des Jahres.
  Wir sind keine Haupterwerbsolivenproduzenten, sondern produzieren für den erweiterten Eigenbedarf.
  Hauptaktionszeit ist die Olivenernte mit dem Beginn des Novembers, wobei wir uns immer über tatkräftige Unterstützung freuen.
  Da es im Leben immer um ein ausgeglichenes Geben & Nehmen besteht, können wir nicht nur mit gaaaanz vielen Insidertipps und persönlichen Kontakten vor Ort weiterhelfen, sondern bieten auch unser gemütliches & komplett ausgestattetes und hochwertiges Ferienapartment während dieses Zeitraumes kostenlos zur Benutzung an; aufgrund vieler unterschiedlicher Essensvorlieben bieten wir jedoch KEINE Rundumverpflegung an.
  
  Lage: Wir befinden uns in Alleinlage in atemberaubend schöner Aussichtslage oberhalb von Kalamata, jedoch nur 15 Minuten vom quirligen Wochenmarkt Kalamatas entfernt. Zum nächstgelegenen blitzsauberen Strand mit fantastischem Wasser (JA, man kann im November noch sehr gut baden ;-)) sind es nur 12min mit dem Auto.
  Das Apartment befindet sich im Untergeschoss und bietet Platz für 2 Erwachsene und ein Kind.

  After the olive harvest, you can dive into the Gulf of Messini in crystal clear water, visit the spectacular excavations in Ancient Messini or shop at the traditional farmers' market in Kalamata. The region also has a lot else to offer: the impressive and partly. deserted Taygethos mountains, the barren, enchanting Mani, the historic Sparta or a pleasant stroll through the streets of Kalamata.
  
  Nach der Olivenerntearbeit bietet sich ein Abtauchen im Golf von Messini bei glasklarem Wasser, ein Besuch der spektakulären Ausgrabungen in Ancient Messini oder auch das Einkaufen auf dem traditionellem Bauernmarkt von Kalamata an.
  Auch sonst hat die Region sehr viel zu bieten: Das beeindruckende und tw. menschenleere Taygethos-Gebirge, die karg-bezaubernde Mani, das geschichtsträchtige Sparta oder aber ein genüsslicher Bummel durch die Gassen von Kalamata.
