  Hello dear Workawayer!
  
  We are a family with two children (aged 6 years and 14 years). We are vegetarian; and love nature, being outdoors, art and music, reading books, doing yoga and meditation.
  We live in a beautiful place on top of a hill surrounded by nature, but are also close (a few minutes by car) to larger centres . We are interested in a cultural exchange and in improving our English level. We are also wanting support in looking after, and playing with the children; preparing meals and small household chores. We would like interaction with the children, playing board and card games, and reading books aloud in English.
  We offer a spacious top floor private bedroom, with a shared bathroom, within our home; and a large outdoor garden surrounding the house to enjoy.
  
  We have many friends and visitors that we welcome to our home - we love to meet new people!!

  Vicenza (20minutes by car), Verona, Padova, Treviso and Venice (1 hour by train) can be visited for art, culture and tourism experiences.
  You have the opportunity to learn how to cook Italian and nutritious vegetarian food. We buy and eat mainly healthy organically grown food.
  We practice Kundalini yoga and meditation, which you can participate in.
  You will also get to many meet of our friends, local families and neighbours, and have opportunities to practice Italiano!
  In doing so, you can enjoy the sense of true community living.

  Ajuda

  Primarily we desire that you spend your time playing with the children in a joyful and spontaneous way so they can learn English and a new culture while having fun. We ask your help in preparing and cooking family meals, and cleaning up afterwards. We also would like it if you introduce us to food and recipes from your own culture.
  If you have any other skills such as gardening, or making crafts, knitting, crochet etc, that you would like share, we would welcome this.

  I would like to improve my English pronunciation and vocabulary by practising speaking; and perfecting my grammar ... so please feel free to correct me!

  Acomodação

  You will stay in your own top floor attic room, sharing the bathroom. It is cosy and warm with simple furniture. The house is freestanding with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open space area that includes kitchen and living room. We also have a nice garden outside. We own a piano since my son plays piano. We haven't a TV but we do offer a PC and a good Internet connection.

  From our home you can go walking in the woods. There are many beautiful paths and access trails nearby, taking you through olive groves, grape vines, and forrest.
  
  We are one hour by car far from both mountains and the sea and close to cities offering art, history, culture, and shopping.
  From our house there is no public transport but they can be reached in 30' by foot.
  However, my husband and I are both driving down the hill many times during the day and we can easily take you, and collect you from the bus stop; or train station in few minutes.
