Some of the best moments were the long, leisurely lunches by the sea. The sun reflecting off the water, the fresh breeze, and their warm company made each meal feel like a special occasion. Sharing stories, laughter, and simple yet delicious food, these lunches became more than just meals – they were a reminder of how beautiful life can be in the right company.
We had a lovely time here. The accommodation was top notch and the work was pretty easy, it's all outside by the beach with an amazing view. This workaway was unpaid, but we were given so much free time to chill and explore the local area, which has plenty of things to do, especially if you're active. There is a train station close by which serves

We were mainly working with Angelo cleaning and dismantling for the end of season storage. He likes things done very specifically but only speaks italian and we spoke english. We made it work through lots of hand gestures and google translate. Antionetta makes delicious lunch on the days we work, definitely made us gain some weight. Giuseppe was an amazing host and very kind. Rosario was mainly in charge of the workaways, he has done it before himself so he is very understanding, a very funny guy with a good heart.
Amazing couple ,they bring the sun from Brazil.
They stay for few days but I was really happy to have them on the beach.
Amazing photography skill especially with the drone.
Rosario and her family welcomed us very well, even though we were only there for a short time they helped us with everything, we got to know the main points near the beach, the house they provided us with was great. We would have liked to have stayed longer! 10/10

She is a smart woman, really capable and good in communication (able to talk multiple languages like Arab,France and English,plus she understands really good Italian).
She was with us for more than 3 weeks and was my first workaway.
Super clean in the house and at the work.

This was my first workaway experience with Rosario and his family. The place at the beach is incredible which made the stay so very relaxing especially that the family has treated us kindly and with respect, particularly Antoinette, la mama, who was always making sure that we were well fed and well rested after work... I truly appreciated every
… read more member of the family and their well manners expect for Rosa's behaviour that can be a bit offensive depending on her mood... The house we stayed in was really comfortable, equipped with all the necessary amenities, and a ride was always provided when someone from the team was available, the public bus was also very good, with the only inconvenience of a limited schedule from 9am to 5pm.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience with the family, we laughed a lot and we enjoyed working as a team from the kitchen to the bar... Rosario was always flexible and let us decide what is the most suitable timing for us to work and to be off, something I appreciated, but I also think taking the lead in desinging a schedule is nothing harmful...
I also got to taste homemade Calabrian foods and drinks for free at the bar, the sunsets on the beach are not to miss and the view of Aieta mountains is equally breathtaking... Anyone who would like to live a genuine southern Italian experience must contact Rosario, you also can improve your Italian the same way I did...
The workaway was not paid, but we didn't mind as far we got to enjoy the experience to the fullest...
I will certainly come back because now I have another family in Calabria ❤️Comentário

It has been an amazing and unforgettable workaway experience for me. A beach business, run by a lovely and warm hearted Italian family, in one of the nicest beaches in Cosenza, Calabria region. The work is not hard, staff and the owners help you a lot. the work atmosphere is great. you can meet a lot of new people, and you can enjoy your time

You will be the first one to taste freshly cooked Italian typical food (but you can put on weight, be careful ;)) After work, you have your free time to discover the nearby beaches, swim in the sea, enjoy the sunset at the beach. And the accomodation; the house and facilities provided by the family are the best. So comfortable and in a nice Italian village where you can experience everyday life in Italian way. And the last but least, the family (the owners) are so welcoming, so warmhearted and very kind people that in a short time you feel like you are a member of the family and they become your family. I am so happy to have met them. Thanks to everyone who gave me the chance for this experience.
