I had a really good time with Roel. No complicacion everthing was easy. Also with my daughter , partner and an other workaway it fits wonderful. Roel does really like working and oliveharvest is a hard job. Sometimes i had to stop him.

5 pleasant weeks I spent with Lisa in beautiful La Alpujara, hunting the olives. Work was real, but we had plenty days of freedom, more than just 2 a week, so it was not too tyring and good fun ! Lisa produced one great meal after the other, delicious cakes and great juice of all the fruit that falls of the trees in this blessed area. Avocados !

I stayed with Lisa for a week to harvest olives in a beautiful place with an exceptionally beautiful view. I learned a lot from Lisa. She has a lot of experience about olive trees and how to treat them properly. She is a very hospitable and generous person, works passionately, has a vision for nature and how it should be treated with respect.

Alex was a really helpfull and nice person. It is hard work and in short time he acted as a professional, i was really surprised. He is open mind . learns quickly and is positiv. I learned some englisch from him and we had good spanisch conversation, he speaks really good. I always would recommend him.

I spent almost a month with Lisa, and it was really special. She is welcoming, friendly, good fun and a great cook. Her home is beautiful and Rita is a ball of energy! I've spend more than 2 weeks at Lisa's place and helped her with harvesting olives. We had delicious food and lunch breaks with beautiful views. Sabine and Uwe stayed 3 weeks with me and it was a really nice time together. Now they are professional olive pickers and i was enyoing the good meals they cooked. Even both dogs were playing all time together. They helped me a lot and it was nice company for me and my daughter.
We are grateful for the three weeks we were allowed to spend with Lisa! A beautiful place, a beautiful house, a wonderful hostess who has generously fed us and also let us get to know a bit of the cultural life of this unique place (Ogiva).
