  Hi, I am Michela!
  In the last few years I lived between Florence, Spain and I did a workaway experience in a hostel in the NL for some months. Now I’m back in my beloved island, where I work for an intercultural centre that supports migrants.
  
  If you are looking for some time in the south of Sicily, this could be the place for you!
  
  I live in a nice flat in Borgata, close to the historical centre (Ortigia) and the sea
  
  Since I enjoyed my previous workaway experiences in the Netherlands, I like meeting new vibrant souls from every corner of the world and, at the same time, I would need an help in cleaning and in renovate my terrace, I would like to share my house with some enthusiastic workaway travelers.
  
  In exchange, you would help me with:
  - housekeeping, cleaning (house and terrace),
  - terrace maintenance (painting the walls, hang boxes, building with pallets)
  - Laundry
  - care of the plants- flowers
  
  I just require between 3-4 hours por day :)
  
  
  At the moment, just short periods with the possibility of extension!
  
  nb since I started hosting people in my house the bills have increased significantly, so I request an intelligent consumption of water and gas and, if possible, a optional donation for the bills. I absolutely don't want to profit from it but paying them alone is going be harder. Just a donation based on how much you use and how much you can is enough

  Travellers will have a lot of free time, and I will provide a wealth of information about the city, the coast, and the surrounding villages. Ortigia, the Archaeological Park, and the train/bus station are all within walking distance of the house.
  This house is always happy to welcome people with positive energy, so we could have dinners, yoga sessions, or other creative activities.

  Maximum 2-3 hours per day. The tasks are extremely simple and completely adaptable and flexible.

  Acomodação

  The house is very cosy and light, with a large balcony where you can do sport/yoga, outdoor activities and have nice dinners with friends.
  You will sleep on a large sofa bed in the living room and share the bathroom and kitchen with me and my lovely cat Lua. Breakfast, WiFi, and laundry are all included. If necessary, I will lend you my bike and paddle board to explore the city from the ground and the coast:)
