Welcome to our home in Kraichtal!
We live in a beautiful house in the countryside of Kraichtal, a region known for its vineyards and hiking opportunities. Heidelberg and Karlsruhe are just 40 km away, Stuttgart and Mannheim 60 km, and even France is not far.
We enjoy cooking fresh, mostly vegetarian meals, using organic ingredients whenever possible. My wife Jenny runs an organic food store with a café, where she shares her passion for high-quality, sustainable food. We are an open-minded family who loves traveling and exchanging ideas with people from different cultures.
I’m Steven and work for a large software company, where I interact with colleagues from all over the world. Our 15-year-old son Fin still lives at home, while our 22-year-old daughter Zoe has already moved out. Our family also includes a friendly Spanish Water Dog named Chica and a puppy named Mara. -

We do not expect any professional construction, DIY, or skilled maintenance work. Your help should be light and flexible, and we are happy to work alongside you. -

Private Space: You will have a separate room with a maisonette, a double bed, a fridge, and a private bathroom.
Meals: We provide all the food for breakfast and lunch, which you prepare yourself during the week. All groceries are provided by us, and you can personally select them from Jenny’s organic store, ensuring a 100% organic food supply during your stay.
In the evenings, we usually cook fresh meals together and enjoy them as a family. -

Transport & Activities: Many hiking trails, historic towns, and castles are nearby. Our village has a train station, and there’s also a car-sharing provider.
We are a non-smoking household, but smoking outside is fine. -
