Experience the monastery life with volunteering in the Buddhist Monastery. Growth your inner cultivation in the peaceful and quiet life in the monastery.
We are welcome everyone from 18-65 years old to join our morning chanting, formal meals, meditation and calligraphy. Our monks, nuns, volunteers, and students are very friendly and helpful – even if they cannot speak much English.This is an active monastery, the home of a spiritual community committed to a celibate lifestyle. Volunteers are expected to act appropriately and modestly while living with the community and comply with the rules of the monastery.
We currently not provide any documents for Visa application. It is workawayers' respondsibility to obtain the correct visa for any country you intend visiting. Thanks.

Ajuda
We prefer for minimum stay of 2 weeks. This allows volunteers to familiar with the environment and daily life of monastery. Volunteers prefered to arrive on 1st and 3rd Monday every month, at 2pm.
Volunteering opportunities include:
Housekeeping, Gardening, & Maintenance: pruning, sweeping, cleaning rooms. If you have the special ability would like to offer, dont hesitate to tell us. Thanks.
Elementary level Mandarin is convenient but not necessary.

This was my first and I think will always be my favourite Workaway experience. HuiZan, the other volunteers and everyone at the temple is kind, caring and the best. The monks and nuns treated us with so much love and joy, it was such a privilege. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone and anyone.
