We need a lot of help to rebuild our project after the fire of October 2017.
We need help and we appreciate a lot if you chose us.
However,.. we must give you correct information and our project is not any more the same as like presented on the pictures.
In more than 15 years we build up a project that was ready to have a small community and a lot of demonstration, events and workshops. We invest all in it.
After the fire storm in the night of 15 October 2017 all was destroyed.
All is gone,… (almost we also)
All nature and fruit trees, infrastructure, energy systems, farm machines, caravans for visitors, indoor and outdoor kitchen, goat stables and 6 goats, processing equipment for vegetable oil and others, very large stock of materials and recycled materials, etc.
Now nature come back and all is green again with a different look. We will replant lots of trees and reorganize the garden. Volunteers can help to rebuild all kind and see direct the positive results of their efforts.
We have again two small caravans to host volunteers for overnight. (one has 2 sleeping places)
We need a lot of help, just to manage the land and rebuild some.
However our accommodation is very limited, So we must careful planning stays of volunteers.
Not only sleeping places are limited but also the place to eat the meals, has only place for 4 people including us. When the weather is better we can use some more place in a temporary outdoor kitchen. In summertime its all more easier and even a tent can be much comfort for overnight if there is some overlap of volunteer stay.
In exchange for your help you will get good healthy food, accommodation and you can learn new skills.
See forward to have volunteers who join us in work and pleasure.
We have still our relax room in the little granite stone house where we like to play on big screen and sound system, the documentaries and dvd concerts. Ask any question you have by mail.
See forward to meet you.Tipos de ajuda e oportunidades de aprendizado

There is plenty to do. At this moment we need urgent help with the vegetable garden, olive harvest, herding and milking goats, landscape management, firewood, clearing land and all kind of technical things. You can work on things according to your skills and / or you can learn a lot of other things.
We expect dedicated, proactive volunteers with ambition to learn from each other’sIdiomas

This is some old text who we will update later.
We are part of a group (Belgian origin) who has lot of experience (3 generations) in all kind of ecological and energy solutions. We are workaholic inventors and we are highly technical equipped.
The group shares knowledge and technical capabilities and supports sustainable projects worldwide. We help communities to become more independent through knowledge sharing on sustainable energy and technology.
We also give initial advice and organise workshops for every budget. We share our equipment with farmers so they can produce their own vegetable oil (from seeds) and food for animals.
And much more ...! Our group is growing and we hope to find people who want to perpetuate and replicate the knowledge and inventions of previous generations, who had the knowledge to make real sustainable solutions.
We have a large stock and several sources of used material of all kinds. We also collect all types of scrap and waste with the purpose of reusing for the building and repairing of other things. We are big promoters of reuse in strict contrast to recycling and we also give workshops about how to dismantle and reuse all parts of every equipment (for example, old washing machines). We have shown recently how to make a water turbine for producing electricity out of scrap material (possible with a car turbo and a washing machine motor). Don’t throw away things! Sometimes we give money for it but most of the times we like to exchange.
Who are we? I am Dirk, a technical “freak”. Christine is a former high educated and skilled nurse, who practice and study alternative methods of healthcare. She makes works mainly in agriculture and aromatic / medicinal herbs. We respect nature and every living thing on earth. We believe in the natural hierarchy and we see humans as a part of that nature, and classify them as a predator, even if they are strict ecologist, vegan or….? We don’t discriminate people about their nature or sexual orientation. We don’t accept the false moral of unnatural and hypocrite society.
We are music addicts and we like lots of styles. We like to organise parties on our quinta.
Finally, “We” are all people who join the project temporarily or permanently to do and implement meaningful things. “We” are the friends, partners and fans of this project. “We must be the change we wish to see”. You can hear it in the song “See Who I Am” from Within Temptation on the album “The Silent Force”, based on Mahatma Gandhi’s quote “Be the change that you want to see in the world”

We were pleasantly surprised that this young woman could adapt on any situation.
She was eager to learn and in a short time she could manage things she never did before.
We hope that Diana will be more than a volunteer, become a friend, we hope to see back ones.
Many thanks Diana.
