  I am a Co housing resident with one spoiled male chihuahua in a 13 unit intentional community in Ashland Oregon. I am located in Southern Oregon USA and am seeking workaways willing to offer work exchange at my location a minimum of 30 days or longer (based on work ethic and compatibility).
  Volunteers or the acceptance of WOMEN only candidates will be determined after voice and or media calls.
  
  Pet Care including sitting, walking etc. Work in the garden is needed to tend to the fruit and grapevines and harvest edibles from our organic community garden.
  Projects concerning the house and landscape (repairing fencing) and general household maintenance assistance is also a priority.
  
  One month minimum time frame commitment including a trial period of the first 10 days.
  
  4 Hours work schedule everyday. Requests for time off needs to be communicated in advance.
  Schedule somewhat flexible after initial trial.
  
  Vegetarian food including non organic, If you have dietary special needs you will be required to purchase those items yourself. Nearest grocery and cafe is a 15 minute walk. Home and lifestyle-is simple and comfortable. Meat and shoe free house with ample space indoors and out. Smoke and alcohol free environment.

  Improve English and experience the benefits of community life in a College town with progressive attitudes. Share companionship and vegetarian meals in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Also companionship to area places of interest including camping, hiking the local trails and mountains.

  I will ask for references. I am only seeking women.
  
  The ideal candidates are out of state or international women travelers. Trustworthy women with a strong work ethic and a good sense of humor and serving others most welcome.
  Public library and hiking trails within walking distance, close to public transportation. I can provide some rides into town and the use of a bicycle. Please be willing to write several paragraphs about yourself. It is important to email back and forth and exchange photos BEFORE any investment is made towards air fare to Southern Oregon.
  
  Host insists on rising early, on quiet morning voices and quiet evening hours.

  Accommodations are modest but comfortable. I provide a private sleeping area, you will be required to share the bathroom. The site is a 3 bedroom townhome with a private yard in a co housing community in beautiful and vibrant Ashland Oregon. We are in the foothills. It can be hot and dry during the summer months. Very pleasant temperatures during fall, winter and spring.

  This location offers many opportunities to enjoy live music, an art museum, coffee shops, and yoga studios.
  There is a local developed hot spring that is reasonably priced. The mineral water is wonderful.
  There is also a local Japanese spa with a soaking pool, steam room, dry sauna and cold plunge.There is also a free Japanese garden in one of the many area local parks.
