  Hello,
  
  We are a young family searching for a person who enjoys cooking. Our garden is producing, and we would appreciate help to use our harvest in unique and delicious ways. Garden and cat care would also be helpful! We will be away for some of this week...so being comfortable alone (with our sweet little kitty is key).
  
  This would be through Aug 1-8th (ish)
  
  We live in one of the most beautiful places in the Canada. The diversity of activities, abundance of nature and quiet space is truly spectacular. Our home in situated walking distance to cafes, amenities, sandy beaches, swimmable rivers, walking/biking trails and more. Simply put...it is heavenly.
  
  We are looking for an honest, creative, clean, independent and caring person to help with harvest, cooking, preserving, etc.
  
  We are laidback couple, we love nature/music/food/community/travel/adventure, and are looking forward to connecting with folks for different countries.

  We lead very active social lives, and have family all around...so you can be as immersed as you would like to be in our network of friends/family. There is always something interesting to do in the local surrounding communities, and we would support you engaging in cultural, music, sporting events.
  
  We are always involved in cooking, gardening, projects, nature adventures, events, etc. We work in the healing arts (massage, acupuncture, somatics)...so are happy to educate you in the realms of body/mind/spirit (if that is of interest to you.)
  
  We have an 18 month old who is so happy, curious, silly and FUN to be with. We spend a lot of time nurturing her growth and providing a safe, inspiring, loving environment for her.

  We have a two story home, and the lower level will be a very private, quiet space for you. Your room has a king sized bed and there is a private bathroom and recreation room.
  
  You are welcome to join us in the kitchen anytime you like...and enjoy our beautiful timber framed deck with views of the garden :)
  
  We keep a clean home (remember we do have a toddler) and really value someone who is also able to respect our home by keeping things tidy and well cared for. We value a safe, comfortable, positive space.
  
  We enjoy all types of food, and are open to learning what you love. We eat as local and organic as possible. Generally we have two smaller meals and one larger meal each day.

  This is a nature lovers dream...so if that is what you are after, you're in the right place. If you're into urban centres, lots of restaurants and bars..this is not the spot for you.
  
  We are in the middle of two larger town centres (Courtenay and Campbell River) which are both 20 minutes away. We are situated in a lovely small continuity that is bustling with local activity, boasting both beach and river activities, golf course, marina, endless walking trails and agricultural land.
  
  We are on a local bus route that attaches you to countless communities within the Comox Valley. We have explored thoroughly throughout the years...so will be happy to direct you to some amazing features.
  
  We don't smoke cigarettes, and would prefer if you did this off of the property if you do smoke.

  We have good internet access, and offer a lot of space for quite work in our home.

  We are on 1 acre here so lots of room to park a camper van. We can hook you up to power and fill up water but we would ask that you be as self sufficient as possible and take your waste water elsewhere.

  This elder cat also belongs to the renters of the studio out back. On the land...but never in our home. Friendly and cute.

  Lottie & Leo

  There are two dogs and a cat that belong to the renters of our studio out back. They are very friendly and only come to say hello when invited.
