It was a great pleasure to welcome Mona in our place during the automn. She is a very good and respectful person. We are deeply grateful for her sincere engagement and help at home for the garden, her exchanges with kids and us also, for the home staff help too!! She is someone we recommend without hesitation. Thank you so much, Mona, for your flexibility and adaptability in the face of today’s challenges. Our doors will remain open to you.

We had a very good time. Marta is friendly, hardworking, and very proactive. She loves the garden and everything related to it. But she also gladly takes on other tasks and completes them superbly. Marta was probably the best Workawayer I've ever had at my house.

Enzo and Melodie stayed with me for 2 weeks - they were such pleasant company and also made a big contribution . They tackled the jobs with positive attitude and enthusiasm and worked solidly together . Our communication went smooth - Melodie 's english is fluent and what Enzo lacked in english was well compensated for by his flair with the weedeater 😊 I really enjoyed my time with them, our conversations and the wonderful galettes they cooked! Highly recommend these two and welcome them back towards the end their stay.

This was my first workaway experience. I was with Sampada and Madhu for 2 weeks. It was more of a learning experience. We had a common pitch of permaculture. Being from a non-farming background with zero farm experience, I experienced how these 2 are incorporating permaculture principals. Though not fully due to the practical dependencies:- land, rains, harsh sun, water scarcity and overall whether conditions of Konkan region. I was part of various seed plantations. The highlight of the experience is Chiku, Butler and Pilli with the topping of homely food prepared by Sunita Tai. I thank Madhu and Sampada for sharing this lovely experience. And would suggest the non-farming background – Permaculture interested people to have a visit/stay to see how difficult practicalities are than theory and also how the whether affects the daily planning of farm activities. I would love to volunteer again with them and experience the calm and peace. Wish them all the best for this project.

Rachel stayed here around three weeks time as a yoga teacher. She is really nice person with everyone that’s main important thing i guess when you are volunteering in a hostel. We got some nice feedback about from our guests. Thanks a helping out here it was nice meeting you.

Olivia was really super. We lived together for two weeks, working and taking a few trips to nearby areas. She was very tidy at home (even tidier than me!) We visited San Gimignano together, a small medieval town near our place. She worked in our small farm, and we also worked together in a nearby field that I help manage. Tireless and always in a good mood! Olivia, it was truly a pleasure meeting you, and I hope I’ll be able to visit your cherry farm in Switzerland one day, the photos you showed me were beautiful! Tuk has been a really lovely presence in our home. She stayed for two weeks with my mother Isabella, and she cooked some amazing Thai dishes for us! We harvested olives together and, even though the work wasn’t exactly light, Tuk was always helpful and energetic throughout her stay. It was great getting to know you, Tuk! Hope to see you again in England, Thailand, or Tuscany.

Thanks Mamata for a wonderful week in Chitwan. I was welcomed into the family, eating together every night and I enjoyed getting to cook for you guys too :)) I came looking for a different way of experiencing Chitwan, away from the tourists and this delivered. Along side getting to be on the farm and help Ama, Mamata also arranged for me a Jeep and then walking safari with great local prices!! I got to see some amazing animals. You can choose how much work you would like; on safari days I did a lot less and it was still fine. I got to learn about nepalese culture, and I am very happy I chose to have Mamata's as my home for the week. Thanks I miss you ❤️

These guys are amazing!! Thank You so much for meeting up with us and spending time together. We came just in time to be honored with olive harvest, and Costas gave us the most delicious olive oil to take with us, woow! Never tasted stuff like this before! Thank You for cooking delicious meals for us and helping us with your advice. We hope to meet again!

Katrin is a fabulous person and a pleasure to host. She is capable, eager to learn and does so quickly. Her sunny personality, independence and strong work ethic is everything a host is looking for. Katrin is a very modern and resilient young woman. With her experience and flexibility, we would love to have her return at any time. We highly recommend Kat to any future host and wish her safe and happy travels.

Maria and Pablo are a gorgeous couple full of energy, fun and laughter. They were easy to communicate with and very respectful of my home and surrounds. They seem to have a great relationship with each other which makes them extremely enjoyable to be around. They stayed for 2 weeks completing all kinds of household and gardening tasks with enthusiasm and good speed. The jobs were not always easy but they took these challenges with smiling faces. I always appreciated their hard efforts and rewarded them well with lots of healthy vegetarian meals ...which they also appreciated. They were happy to venture off on independent adventures and also happy to accompany me on various outings to the beach or nearby villages. They both have a deep appreciation of our native environment and were very respectful of the bush and wildlife. I can recommend them both as being reliable, friendly, respectful , working travelers who are keen to be immersed in local culture and are fun company. I really appreciate all their efforts with the work they achieved for me and I wish them both all the very best for their future adventures and life ahead. I would happily welcome them both back into my home anytime.

Es kommt erstens anders und zweitens als man denkt. Du, Annelie, hast dich bei uns für einen farmstay entschieden und hast uns die ersten Tage - eben ganz anders als gedacht - dabei geholfen, die Goldschmiedewerkstatt unserer Tochter umzugsgerecht in Kisten zu verpacken. DANKE! Ohne dich hätten wir das nie innerhalb von drei Tagen geschafft. Aber auch das im Dreck wühlen und Hände schmutzig machen kam nicht zu kurz. Du hast jeden Morgen dafür gesorgt, dass die Pferde einen sauberen Stall hatten und wir haben Tonnen von Herbstblättern zusammen entsorgt. Als uns dann das nasskalte Wetter nach drinnen getrieben hat, waren Weihnachtsvorbereitungen mit Zimmer schmücken, Plätzchen backen (seeehr lecker) und auch das Abendessen kochen an der Reihe. Nach getaner Arbeit haben sich dann unsere Schmusetiger ihre täglichen Streicheleinheiten bei dir abgeholt und konnten eigentlich nie genug bekommen. Zusammen gespielt und geredet haben wir natürlich auch und du warst beim Memory spielen nur schwer zu schlagen ;). An deinen freien Tagen bist du, meist mit Regenschirm bewaffnet, in unseren Rufbus Rubi gestiegen und hast die Umgebung erkundet. Und so sind die zwei Wochen auch irgendwie ganz schnell vergangen... Schön, dass du uns trotz der geringen Entfernung von deinem Zuhause für deinen workaway Aufenthalt ausgesucht hast und danke für deine tatkräftige Unterstützung. We began our travel journey with Gemma, Garth, Raffy and Diggy. We honestly couldn’t have had more luck with this amazing loving family. We felt so welcome from the start. They were super flexible with the tasks and really appreciative. We waterblasted and did simple house chores. We also had the pleasure of babysitting the two cutest legends ever. We’re going to miss the excited footsteps in the morning and the enthusiastic bike rides. Gemma & Garth both helped us so much and they were so empathetic with our car troubles. We won’t ever forget them and we’ll go back to them if we find a chance. We would recommend them as a host without a doubt. Thank you for all the fun guys.

There is always something going on at our place but when Camryn came to stay with us it was extremely busy because of fosterdogs needing socialisatie and care and the vegetable garden still giving crops and in need of weeding. Luckily Camryn stepped right in and helped out with all that needed to be done. There where a lot of 'first time jobs' but Camryn enjoys all experiences and is eager to learn. The dogs where very much at ease around her and she wasn't bothered when some needed more time. Thanks to Camryn we could do al lot of walks and socializing wich is really essential to adjust in there new home. Camryn was very laidback wich had the right effect on all of us. As a bonus she took on the cooking in the evening. That was an absolute delight as that is the time my energy is always low and the canadian glutenfree twist to our meals really lifted my spirits. We can highly recommend Camryn to all types of hosts, Camryn has no problem adjusting to new situations and embraces new experiences. We enjoyed having her around so much and she really made life easier for us!

Hi Aurora, we would like to thank you a lot for the time spent at your place. We discover a new way to live and we liked it a lot. We would like to thanks a lot your family as well. It is difficult to explain in some words this experience with Maria. We would like to start saying thank to this beautiful soul. She welcomed us in the best way. She shared her world to us and we felt really lucky to be there. We liked a lot her yoga practice and she was always there if we had questions with detailed explanations. she brought us around show us the best natures. The job was well organised, we did mainly gardening and maintanance tasks. Everything was clear and doable. Maria, we hope to meet each other again one day. You know in italy you will always have a home in our place. we wish you all the best!

Volunteering here was a great experience. Samuel and Flores are very friendly and they are willing to explain how to help and contribute to the project. Moreover, Samu knows a lot about mexican culture so if you want to learn better the history of this nation, he is the professor. The dogs are so lovely and the gallinas gave to us the best fresh eggs every day. The jobs concerned gardening, waterpool cleaning, bnb tasks and general maintanance. Overall we felt really good and we where really sorry to leave temprano. We really hope to meet again this great family in this path calle life. see you soon guys!!

I had two fantastic weeks with Boon and Ati. they are the most welcome people you will ever meet, they loved to teach and show us everything they know and liked to do. if you need a place to connect with yourself, relax and listen to their stories, this is the place! we help out in the garden, painting and cleaning the house and made food for everyone. the fruit and oats breakfast is a huge miss after I left, so nice with fresh fruit from the garden. Im grateful for meeting those two and see how good a simple life in the forest can be. they really made this place great! Boon took us to a local lantern festival and markets so glad we got to see that. for now and in the future I wish you two the best of luck!
