Ale was a nice guest. Good communication, good work. Apart from being a lovely social butterfly. I had another guest for only one night, but she welcomed her. Dear next host, you won't regret having her on your team. And thanks again, Ale.

Gosia is a very sweet and positive person who started the work every day with a smile. She didnt stay in my home as all volonteer rooms were occupied but she came every day to work in time and seam to love every task we gave her. She is not only a good worker but also a lovely person to hang out with. I am looking forward to have her again soon.

Cecilia es muy buena onda; dirige un proyecto centrado en plantas medicinales de los bosques chilenos. Su casa está apartada en el campo, a 30 min de Pucón, no muy lejos del Parque Nacional Huerquehue, con una vista impresionante del Volcán Villarrica. Cecilia compartirá con gusto sus conocimientos sobre plantas. También puede enseñarte algunas recetas personales y pan o tortas fritas. Durante el día, se realizan diversos proyectos, a menudo de forma independiente, aunque todos trabajan cerca unos de otros. Está muy entusiasmada por ayudarnos a disfrutar del entorno. Recomiendo un nivel de español para facilitar la comunicación. ¡Muchas gracias de nuevo a Cecilia por estas dos semanas que pasamos juntas!

Lovely hostel located right slap bang in the city center - the work was very chill and was almost entirely reception work, along with some light houskeeping tasks. What really makes this place an unforgettable experience is Rita, an amazing host and fun loving person who always knows what's going on around town, and when it's quiet, you'll never get bored talking to her or facing off against her on the Nintendo switch. Thank you Rita for such a lovely Workaway experience - I can't wait to come again someday!

Nous avons eu le plaisir d'accueillir Philipp, ce fût un très bel échange. Curieux et interressé, Philipp a su faire partager sa culture et s'intégrer chez nous. When they told me to feel at home, they truly meant it! I’ve felt really comfortable since the very first moment. They are a very kind, patient and welcoming family. Communication with them has been easy and smooth from our very first contact. David was a wonderful volunteer to have at our Centre. He's a very friendly and outgoing guy and fitted in very fast and got in well with all here. Everyone really enjoyed his cooking. His Spanish omelette was something else. He was always willing to help out in any way. He's genuinely interested in doing good in the world and setting his goals in that direction. We miss having him here and wish him all the best in his future!

Ronja and Manu are a great help! They are nice, communicative and built quite a lot of things around here - compost bin, wood container, planted lots of things. If you are looking to welcome interesting people that can help you, they are a really good choice :)

This was my first Workaway experience and I truly couldn't have asked for a better one! ​I stayed with Margaret and Marshall in their beautiful home for three weeks and had a wonderful time. Marshall is such an energetic pup and I was more than happy to take him on his daily walks to the beach and estuary. The town is small but incredibly charming, with a great community feel and lovely weekly farmers markets. ​My day to day tasks were exactly as described with a mix of cleaning, dog walking, and lawn mowing. As a recent arrival to New Zealand, I learned so much about life here thanks to Margaret’s kindness and local knowledge. Margaret and her partner Derek even took me to an open mic night at a local bar, which was such a highlight! ​To top it all off, when it was time for me to head back to Auckland, Margaret went above and beyond by helping me organize a lift with one of her neighbors. I spent three weeks in great company with delicious food in a stunning location. I was very sad to say goodbye and cannot recommend this stay enough!

This place is a super cozy, friendly and chill environment. I spent a month there and it couldn't be better. The workload is perfectly balanced and it leaves you plenty of free time to enjoy life in Amman, I was there while studying and I was able to balance working, going to class and studying with no problems. Motaz is super welcoming, he makes you feel at home. He always made sure I had everything I needed and that I was feeling comfortable in the house.

More than 10 years I am on Workaway. In that time, here was more than 500 wolunteers. Now I can clearly say that Julian was one of the best of times. Julian is so concreted, focused and balanced, with great working ethics. Great help in any type of work. I wish he could stay longer. My experience in Tenkasi could only be described as very special. I immediately felt at home the second I walked through the door at Kedar and Rajesh’s place. We quickly fell into a daily routine of morning coffee together, followed by an outing of some kind. Either to the idyllic land where the ashram is being built, to the nearby villages for water or supplies, or occasionally to go hang out by the beautiful stream where little fish nibble your feet in the pools. After resting through the afternoon heat we would usually go to visit the land and tend to the little saplings Kedar has planted: Coconut, pomegranate, banana, jackfruit, sweet potato, sapota and moringa. Alongside the beautiful orchards of mango trees all around. We had days out to the Courtrallam waterfalls and Tenkasi temple. The closing ceremony of the temple is something to be experienced: singing and chanting, conch shells being blown alongside traditional long trumpets and stunning rituals. A highlight of my stay was arriving of the bus and heading straight to a coming of age ceremony of the daughter from a local family. The colours of the saris, drumming and warm celebrations welcoming me in will stay with me. In terms of food we ate lots of delicious dosas, idli, biryani, chapati and parotas of course. I certainly never went hungry ! If you are looking for a cultural and spiritual immersion in Tamil culture and rural community then look no further. I’d love to return to see the finished building in the autumn! Thanks again Kedar and Raj for a beautiful and life-affirming experience.

It was a very nice experience to have Eleni at our place for 2 weeks. She is very friendly, laughs a lot and was a great participant in the team with 4 Workawayers. We worked in the vegetable garden and planted seedlings and did the necessary weeding, she helped to build a natural stone wall with a young man and she participated in making a mosaic around an outside bath tub. Of course she also took part in the jobs with bringing the sheep to the pasture and feeding and cleaning the hens in the morning. I can recommend Eleni to all hosts, she is a very good and willing volunteer and fits well in a team of Workawayers.

Christina has stayed with us almost two weeks and we were very happy with her .she come along very good with my cat and dogs she looks after them very good . they like her also very much . part of feeding dogs and cats other works what she had to do pick up very fast she was doing everything's with out any helps she came along good with villa aralia staff very well .we wish she could have stay longer with us.thank you again Christina. We had an absolutely wonderful experience hosting Anne through Workaway. She contributed with great dedication to both our gardening and cooking activities, always showing care, efficiency, and a strong sense of responsibility. Anne has a remarkable ability to organize and arrange the working space in a highly effective and thoughtful way, which significantly improved the flow of our daily routines. Her calm and grounded character brought a very positive and stabilizing energy to the team. She collaborated effortlessly with everyone, showing kindness, respect, and emotional intelligence in all interactions. It was also a big advantage that she was already familiar with Thessaloniki and Greek culture, allowing her to integrate immediately and connect naturally with both the group and the local environment. Anne is a truly reliable and valuable volunteer, and we recommend her with full confidence to any future host. We would be more than happy to welcome her back anytime. This was our first Workaway experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better one.
We spent 10 days with Eva, Mike, and Pinot, and we really didn’t want to leave at all. We felt like part of their family—they were so welcoming and caring. We enjoyed helping them around their amazing property and they always made sure we didn’t work too much or too hard and were super grateful for every little task we managed to do during our stay. We were even able to do some great trips after work and enjoy the beaches nearby. They prepared amazing food and we spent lovely evenings together - It’s a time we will never forget.
 We are so happy and grateful for the time we spent with them and can’t recommend it enough.

Barbara and Alexandra were perfect workawayers. They worked diligently without having to have a lot of supervision. Everyday they would go out to complete the tasks without being asked. They are very easy to get along with and have interesting stories to tell about their travels. I only wished we had more time to teach them about horses as I was sick much of the time they were here. And If I had known that Barbara was such a talented artist I would have put her to work doing a mural. I hope they have many more adventures together and love happily ever after.

We spent 2 weeks at Pamela & Jürg’s place in the peaceful Irish countryside. Pamela and Jürg are kind, smart people, very well-read and educated in various topics. They are also both terrific cooks. Our work consisted mainly of preparing firewood, cleaning around the horse stables and the house and helping Jack build a fence around the back pasture. We had a lot of free time as well, to explore the surrounding towns and culture or just hang out with the horses and dogs. Pamela also took us to see the Hook Lighthouse and we tried fencing for the first time with Jürg. Thank you so much for everything! Alex&Barbora
