  Description

  We’re a small family living on a 36-acre organic farm in rural Zambia, just outside Lusaka. I’m Linda, a remote software developer, and my husband is a business analyst. We homeschool our two energetic boys (3 and 6), and spend our days growing food, raising chickens, and working on community-focused projects. Our farm has 9 full time workers and 15 part time workers.
  
  One of our favorite parts of the farm is our beetroot outgrower program. We work with rural farmers to grow beets as an alternative to charcoal production, helping them build sustainable livelihoods. We then process the beets into tea, powder, and pickles right here on the farm.
  
  We’re big believers in slow, purposeful living. Our place is peaceful, green, and full of life perfect for nature lovers, remote workers, creatives, and anyone looking for something a little different. We also have Starlink internet, so you’re never too far from the rest of the world!
  
  You'll be part of the family while you're here sharing meals, ideas, and lots of laughs. Whether you're interested in farming, homeschooling, content creation, or just unplugging for a while, we’d love to welcome you to our little piece of Zambia.

  Staying with us is more than just helping on a farm it's a chance to live with us, not just next to us. You'll be part of our family rhythm: sharing meals, stories, school time with our boys, and walks around the farm.
  
  We love introducing visitors to Zambian culture from food and farming to village life and language. You’ll get to meet local farmers, visit the nearby community, and learn how we process our beets into powder, tea, and pickles a skill that's part traditional, part innovative.
  
  We’re happy to teach you about organic farming, homeschooling, and even how we’re working with farmers to reduce deforestation by offering alternative income. In return, we’re excited to learn about you your culture, your ideas, your way of life.
  
  Every guest brings something new, and we love the exchange of laughter, language, and perspective that comes with it.

  We have a Facebook page we barely use and zero TikTok presence, yet so much cool stuff happens here farm life, beetroot products, working with outgrower farmers offering alternatives to charcoal. We welcome fun, creative volunteers to help us share our story online. Nothing too serious just someone who enjoys making content and having a laugh while doing it!

  1 Bedroom cottage with Kitchen and ensuite bathroom.
  
  We will provide shared meals for breakfast and lunch and ingredients for dinner which can be prepared in the kitchen of the cottage provided.
