Description
Run by a small group of friends, this “big house” is a place where we seek to live in touch with the environment and our community. We have an organic garden that provides us with delicious veggies, and we eat as local as possible, we enjoy fruits from the valley and drink tea and coffee from our land in the jungle of Peru. We have a good relationship with the local community, which we maintain by helping the village children with their homework and giving out veggies from the garden when we have extra produce.

You will learn about the Incas and the Sacred Valley and enjoy its beauty every day. We are located near many of the top tourist attractions of the Cusco region and in the heart of the Sacred Valley.
You will learn about organic farming. We have a beautifully terraced organic garden.
Enjoy the incredible night skies, we are at nearly 2,700 meters altitude (9,000 feet) and have no light pollution, so milky way is visible almost every night.
Learn to prepare delicious Peruvian dishes.
Living at the ranch also offers full Spanish immersion. Even though we understand and speak some English, volunteers can help us improve it, and in return we are happy to help volunteers with improving their Spanish.Aide
We kindly ask that you review our calendar before requesting information.
Please take a moment to read the following carefully:
📌 Minimum stay: 2 months — no exceptions.
We truly value long-term volunteers. Ideally, we're looking for those who can stay 3 months or more.
However, we may consider 2-month stays only if you have experience in at least one of the following areas:
Gardening (especially with permaculture techniques)
Cooking (helping our chef prepare organic, farm-to-table meals)
Horse care (you must be fully independent — no training or supervision is provided)
Horse riding activities (please note that we have a weight limit).
Customer service during artisanal workshops (welcoming and guiding participants through the experience)
Email and coordination support (helping with basic communication, scheduling, and organizational tasks)
Work at our jungle farm in Huayopata (4 hours from the Sacred Valley by car) Home to coffee and tea plantations, and a crystal-clear private river. The climate is tropical and the work is hard but deeply rewarding.
⛔️ Please do not contact us if...
You’re traveling as a couple or with children — we’re not able to host couples or families.
You’re new to the roles listed above — we require previous experience is about your safe and happiness.
You're hoping to learn everything from scratch — we wish we could train everyone, but short stays don't allow time for that.
This is a special place, shaped with love and care over 20 years. It’s a living, breathing ecosystem — beautiful, but also complex. We provide housing, food, and a supportive environment, and in return, we ask for people who are ready to contribute meaningfully from early on. We hope you understand 🤍

We are so sad to see Katie go! She was a delight to have out on the ranch and really became a part of the family. She was a great all around worker, assisting with horses, cooking, hosting guests, and helping with the general ranch labor. Katie went above and beyond the work expected of her. She was up early every day… read more
