Description

I'm a Law student looking for a way to spend my summer between studies in 2026. Having spent 2019/2020 teaching in a monastery in Myanmar, I am hoping to find a project which is just as inspiring.

I love to talk to new people and explore, as well as enjoy chances to use my language skills. I studied French and Spanish literature at Oxford University for my undergraduate degree, so keen to practice and improve when I can. I'm passionate about creating new projects and making myself as useful as possible. Teaching languages and sports has been a wonderful and enjoyable way to get involved in different communities in the past, but I'm also keen to get involved with fund-raising and other charitable initiatives.

I have plenty of experience in marketing and communications internships so I'm happy to put my IT skills to good use and get stuck in with administrative tasks. I'm proactive and hardworking when it comes to tasks that other people don't smile about.

I'm a language student at Oxford University with experience teaching from the age of 16. I started with an au pairing role in Perpignan, France, before landing two primary school assistant jobs in Rouen and then Salamanca when I was 18. Since then I have been an online tutor with classes of up to 50 students. I moved to Myanmar to teach in a monastery in 2019 and delivered language, drama and sports classes to students of all ages.
