Description
We are a very small resort called in the bornean rainforest (Malaysian state of Sabah) on top of a 100 meter high hill.
The only access to our the lodge is by walking up a 250meter long staircase, which is made up by a total of 538 steps leading through the lush frontier forest or more commonly known as primary forest, and over calm streams. By building these steps, we are able to preserve the forest on its own undulating terrain, and protect the natural habitat where the rarest wildlife of the entire South East Asia can be found, especially for those endangered Orang Utans, Proboscis Monkeys, Hornbills and Pygmy Elephants.

Staying at a location like ours brings you close to a small local jungle village which is a local Bornean tribe (Orang Sunggei).
You will get to try (or even cook) local Malaysia dishes and see what a "simple" life the locals have.

we are looking for young and fit people who love the outdoors more in particular the tropical jungle.
and we can always use people who understand the needs of mainly western guests and volunteers who don't mind to live far away from the civilised world in the middle of the rainforest. Our main interest goes at the moment to people who have experience with website building and design to improve our marketing( advertising, information signboards, t-shirts etc etc)
Recently we are very interested in someone who can set up a composting project for our organic waste, experience with this matter is preferred.
