Description
Hi! My name is Iacopo, and I live in Todi, a charming and peaceful town in the heart of Umbria. I manage a small winery in a tiny village called Doglio, surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, and the beautiful Umbrian countryside. I’d love to welcome you to experience life in the vineyard and the art of making natural wine.
I’m looking for helpers who are curious and passionate about wine, viticulture, and rural life. The busiest times are harvest, pruning, and wine tasting, but there are always interesting tasks to discover, both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
You’ll have a place to stay and some shared meals, and in return, we’ll share more than just work: the love for organic viticulture, the joy of tasting good wine, and the authentic lifestyle of Umbria. It’s an opportunity to be part of a small community, connect with the land, and truly experience Italian countryside life.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Our area is truly special: gentle hills, lush woods, and historic towns like Perugia, Spello, Bevagna, Montefalco, Todi, Spoleto, and Orvieto make every walk feel like a journey back in time. Life here moves slowly, and you can really feel the authenticity of the Umbrian countryside.
For those curious to learn, I can teach you how to manage an organic vineyard and make natural wine, step by step. It’s a chance to get close to the land, the seasons, and vineyard work, learning through hands-on experience.
I would also love to improve my English, so I’m happy to do a language exchange: I’ll teach you Italian, and you can help me with English. It’s a fun and practical way to share culture, work, and daily life in our beautiful region.L’hôte offre un salaire correspondant au salaire minimum

Aide
Welcome helpers (boys and girls, ideally aged 20 to 35) who are passionate about viticulture and oenology.
During the year I need help in specific periods, such as grape harvest, vine pruning, and other seasonal vineyard tasks.
I provide accommodation and we often share meals together. You’ll also taste our wines during the experience, and I’m happy to teach you about vine growing and winemaking.
In addition, work hours are paid according to the Italian minimum wage, in compliance with Italian law. The exact rate and schedule will be discussed and agreed upon individually.
In return, you’ll have the chance to experience authentic rural life in Italy and enjoy the beauty of the vineyards.Langues
