Description
Hi there! My name is Amanda and I am 29 years old. I have lived in California, New York, Spain, Mexico, and Albania. Some of my passions include travel, cooking, baking, reading, writing, theater, and music. I adore the ocean, and am an experienced swimmer and diver. I also play guitar and sing, and in my spare time I love to be active in whatever way I can. I have worn many hats in my work life, from bartender to farmhand to English teacher. It is my greatest desire in life to never, ever stop learning.

I am a jack of all trades, master of some. I was Valedictorian of my high school and graduated from university with two degrees and high honors. My degrees are in English (BA), and Theater (Acting, BFA). I love academics; I have tutored all subjects to people of all ages, and have also worked as an elementary school teacher in a classroom setting. I have extensive experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry, having worked as a server/bartender on and off for many years. Food and wine are two of my greatest passions. I have also worked as an actress and a musician (I sing and play the guitar). I am an extremely strong swimmer and experienced ocean diver. I am athletic: I played basketball, volleyball, and ran track in school. More recently, I have developed a love for hot yoga, running, and pilates. I am a very active person. I speak Spanish and English and am a very fast learner. My most extensive area of expertise is in working with youth; I have been a professional nanny on and off for the past fifteen years.
