  Description

  Hello Workawayers!
  We are a little family living close to the Baltic Sea and are looking for someone who would enjoy spending some time with us and helping a bit around the house and garden.
  
  We recently bought an older house that we are gradually renovating and shaping into our dream home.
  
  Our family consists of David, Rike, our baby, and our small dog.
  David works full time, and on his free days he enjoys working on projects around the house. He also loves music – you will find musical instruments all around the house, and music is always part of our home.
  Rike is currently on parental leave. She spends a lot of time with the family and friends and enjoys baking, gardening, and doing creative projects and renovations.
  
  
  Our home is located in the beautiful Baltic Sea region (postcode area 6340), only minutes to the water. The beach is just a short walk away, and there is also a beautiful ancient forest nearby, perfect for hiking and nature walks.
  You can easily visit the charming towns of Flensburg and Sønderborg, which both have lovely harbors, cafés, and cultural life.
  For longer trips, Copenhagen and Hamburg are great destinations for weekend adventures.
  
  
  We offer a relaxed family atmosphere, nature all around, and the chance to experience life near the Baltic Sea. We enjoy sharing meals, conversations, and getting to know people from different cultures.
  If you love nature, the sea, dogs, music, and family life, this could be a wonderful place for you.

  We enjoy a relaxed and friendly family life and like to include Workawayers in everyday activities if they feel comfortable.
  We often cook or bake together, spend time in the garden, or go for walks to the beach with our dog. In summer we love swimming in the Baltic Sea, having simple outdoor meals, or sitting together in the evening.
  Friends and family visit from time to time, and Workawayers are always welcome to join.
  
  For us, hosting is about cultural exchange and meeting interesting people from around the world.
  We love hearing stories about other countries, learning about different cultures, foods and languages, and seeing everyday life from new perspectives.
  We hope our home can be a place where people feel welcome, share experiences, and create good conversations, new ideas and nice memories together.

  Aide

  We would appreciate help with babysitting our babygirl from time to time, taking our sweet little dog for walks, gardening and other small indoor and outdoor tasks.
  
  Work schedule:
  4 days per week
  4–5 hours per day
  So you will have plenty of free time to relax, explore the area, or travel.

  Hébergement

  Workawayers will have their own private room and a private toilet, so you’ll have your own space to relax and feel comfortable in our home.
  
  We usually cook and share at least one meal together each day. With the baby and the renovations breakfast and lunch are often flexible, everyone gets their own cereal or sandwich.
  We enjoy buying fresh food at the local market, but there are also supermarkets about 15 minutes away if you need anything.

  There is an hourly bus connection to Sønderborg and Flensburg. We can also provide a bicycle so you can explore the area independently.
