Description
Our Organic Farms is a family owned farm collective. We are a tiny organic farm steeped in traditional farming practices and aiming to building the community on organic farming. We have a kitchen with basic utensils and gas connection. Workawayers can cook their meal when they are here. Alternately arrangements can be made for meals once we connect with a workawayer and they need help with meals. The food arrangement can be made accordingly.

Travelers can learn organic farming practices and preparing pesticides, fertilizers using organic methods. We have an upcoming vermicomposting unit as well. We want to produce and package several of our products and build a customer base. Travelers can hone marketing, communication and learn on being a small business owner at the farm. You'll always have our Organic farmer and his entire family available at all times
Aide
We are an Organic Farm located near Mysore, Karnataka and we welcome work-awayers to help with our farm. We have a farm filled with Indie Cows, Goats, Sheep, Hens and multiple birds that visit. We have a cozy eco-home built completely on wood and coconut leaves. We offer high-speed Internet connection and have a tiny kitchen for volunteers to cook up a meal. You have full access to fresh vegetables and greens available to pluck across the farm.
We need help in improving the farm through cleanups, de-weeding, managing livestock etc. Anyone with skills around event management / marketing etc would be highly welcome. We need to increase people engagement and foot fall to the farm.

Eco hut with a bathroom and toilet. Running hot and cold water plus an outside kitchen
We have free and full access to greens and vegetables. We have a kitchen with all the necessary utensils and gas connection. Work-awayers can cook their meals or we can arrange for someone to cook for them. Basic grocery supplies (rice, lentils, spices etc.) can be provided depending on the workawayers and their needs

The farm is located only 3 kms away from the world-famous Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Cultural capitals such as Mysore and Srirangapattana are within 30 mins commute. Its a place steeped in history with temples and palaces. There are running trails, hiking spots to soothe any nature lover

Bring pets at your own risk. We have dogs that live outside the farm and can be aggressive. As long as owners can manage pet safety we can accommodate pets
