Description
Take part in a daily life of a secluded village!
Surrounded by beautiful valleys and hills, our place offers peaceful lifestyle, clean environment and escape from civilization. This is multy-cultural region where turks and bulgarian live side by side for genereations.
We are a couple (Max and Marina) in their 30s, who moved here from a big city to live mindfully, eat food from the garden and local farmers and enjoy life. Some years ago we bought an abandoned ex-school building to turn it into a home (or probably some educational project).
We would appreciate help in renovation of the building.

We provide accommodation for up to 3 people in a room with hot shower and wi-fi. 3 vegetarian or non-vegetarian meals per day.

Our village Gorsko Dyulevo is situated in Kardzhali region of Bulgaria.
270 km from Sofia. 120 km from Plovdiv. 400 km from Istanbul.
There's bus connection with all large Bulgarian cities. Trains take longer, and are available from Plovdiv.
The nearest town is Momchilgrad, where we'd be happy to come and pick you up by car.
The nearest shop is in 10 km, so bring any special stuff you maight need (incl. cigarettes) with you.

Mischi spent a week with us, and was a brilliant helper with great enthusiasm, energy and personal qualities. Any task we gave her, she tried to complete with perfection, and was not afraid of hard phisical work. We had great time walking around the village and chatting too!

we spend a good time in maxim's place . We stayed one week, there is a lot of nature and hiking to do there, rhodopes are very beautiful. We make painting, plastering and gardening. I was one week in the Max' place and was very good experience. He was very kind, very patient and easygoing, and he cooks pretty well. The village is beautiful and if you like the hikes there is a nice hill at 3 kms to climb. I hope all the best Max and that your place keep rising.

Colin came for more than a week, and had time to help us in many activities – painting, installing wooden floors, demolishing brick walls, cutting down bushes, etc.
No matter what we asked him, he did it thoughtfully and fast, with a great deal of positive energy. He is extremely friendly and nice person. And can cook delicious meals!
