Description
Hello and welcome. We are a food sovereignty research project that combines an organic chicken farm, a seasonal vegetable garden, and community art. We are looking for people interested in rural life, farm work, interacting with animals, and community life.
Daily tasks include the maintenance, care, feeding, and cuddling of baby chicks (from 1 day old to 12 weeks old), playing with 6 very affectionate dogs and 2 cats who live their own lives. You can also help us with our language exchange workshop held at the village cultural center, as well as the cultural and artistic activities we organize here.

Hola y bienvenidos. Somos un proyecto de investigación de soberanía alimentaria que combina una granja orgánica de gallinas, un huerto de temporada y arte comunitario. Buscamos personas que estén interesadas en la vida de campo, el trabajo en granja, la interacción con animales y la vida comunitaria.
Las tareas diarias consisten en el mantenimiento, cuidado, alimentación y apapacho de pollitos bebés (de 1 día de nacidos a 12 semanas), jugar con 6 perros muy cariñosos, 2 gatos que hacen su vida . Además podrás ayudarnos en nuestro taller de intercambio de idiomas que realizamos en el centro cultural del pueblo, así como las actividades culturales y artísticas que tenemos en el espacio.

We need help in the creation of the garden and orchards, decoration and painting, as well as general maintenance of the space.
We have 6 dogs, 2 cats and chickens and you are going to help us to take care of them, so if you are a animal lover you are more than welcome .
We have arts exploration and language exchange workshop whit people of the community, so you can also help us whit this.
If you have knowledge of photography, content creation and digital marketing, they will be very well received

Necesitamos ayuda en la construcción del jardín y huertos, decoración y pintura, así como mantenimiento general del espacio.
Somos una granja, tenemos 6 perros, 3 gatos , gallinas, y muchos animales e insectos nativos. Tu labor será ayudarnos en su cuidado, buscamos gente que le gusten los animales.
Por el momento necesitamos ayuda en nuestro taller de intercambio de idioma, si tienes experiencia en dando clases de inglés, serás más que bienvenido.
Si tienes conocimientos de fotografía, creación de contenido y márketing digital, también serán de ayuda.

We have an online language school, so we can offer extra work in it. Contamos con una escuela de idiomas Online, así que podemos ofrecer trabajo extra en ella.
Hébergement
This space plans to be a organic farm/creative space and rest house. On weekends the space will be rented as a rest house.
You will receive a safe space for your remote work, all the services, a double bed with a private bathroom (On vextraordinary occasions there will be the need to share the room with other volunteers).

Este espacio planea ser una granja orgánica, centro cultural y casa de descanso. Entre semana esperamos hacer cine clubs, talleres de todo tipo, clases de idiomas, muestras de arte y más. Y en fines de semana el espacio se rentará como casa de descanso.
Recibirás espacio seguro para su trabajo remoto, todos los servicios, cama matrimonial y habitación con baño privado (que en ocasiones extraordinarias se tendría la necesidad de compartir habitación con otros voluntarios).

Tlayacapan is one of the oldest towns in Mexico which has Mexica and Colonial historical monuments, many of these sites are more than 500 years old. The population is surrounded by the Tepozteco nature reserve, a space full of Nature and a deep connection with Nature.
The town is two and a half hours from Mexico City, it is very easy to get to us. We have fiber optic internet and all the necessary services to make your stay pleasant.

Tlayacapan es uno de las poblaciones más antiguas de México la cual tiene monumentos históricos Mexicas y Coloniales, muchos de estos sitios tienen más de 500 años de antigüedad. La población esta rodeada por la reserva natural del Tepozteco, un espacio lleno de Naturaleza y profunda conexión.
La población se encuentra dos horas y media de la Ciudad de México, es muy fácil llegar a nosotros. Contamos con internet de fibra óptica y todos los servicios necesarios para que tu estadía sea agradable.
