Katarina was a delight to have in our home and was very easy to have around. She got along really well with our kids as well as had a great work ethic. She completed workaway tasks efficiently and with ease and was able to take initiative to see what things needed to be done in the house. She seemed to be open to taking on new challenges, for
… read more example yard work, and did so with integrity and care. She took care to look after her personal items and was a perfect house guest. The kids loved playing games with her and baking with her and she took time and showed genuine interest in getting to know each kid and meeting them where they are in their personal interests as well as sharing hers with them.

Krista and Cam were great hosts. I’ve stayed with them for four weeks in April. It was my first experience with workaway and it couldn’t have been any better. I loved to help out where needed: going for walks with their dog, doing laundry or having fun with the kids.
We tried out new recipes, played lots of card games or did go out into the
… read more garden to improve our (or especially my) soccer skills. 😄
On Easter weekend we even went to an island and spend some days there.

Lisa was a delight to have in our home. She connected well with both of our kids and showed a lot of interest and effort to engage in activities and teach them new skills. Lisa was able to do a range of tasks and roll with our families unpredictable schedule. Thank you so much Lisa!

I had such a good time at Cam and Krista’s. It was my last workaway after workawaying in BC for several months and I am very glad I got the chance to spend 2 1/2 terrific weeks with this lovely family. Their house, garden and neighborhood are beautiful, and I enjoyed ”working” there every minute. Weeding the garden, cleaning and helping in the
… read more house never felt like work! Krista and Cam totally make sure that you have plenty of time to go out and explore the area. They even took me to Keats Island with their boat. The two are amazing and it is super easy to have a great time with them.
Their two kids made this workaway experience exceptional and I am definitely going to miss spending time with them; making friendship bracelets, playing Lego and building fun parcours together - good times!

Annika was a pleasure to have in our home. She joined into the family flow quickly and seamlessly and was able to help out with childcare and house work right away. She was always eager to help out and seemed happy to do so. We were happy to share time getting to know Annika and she got along well with the kids and took initiative to engage them

Krista and Cam are awesome hosts! The family is super welcoming and the kids are great fun! I had a great time learning about gardening, baking sourdough, bee farming and the local area.
