The family that ihas sucefully been living with us, will move back home on the 4th May. So, we are looking for people to stay at the farm, in exchange for accomodation
If you are willing to do farm work, we have a pay day 70€/day, also a manual driving licence is required to use the car.

We are Isabel and Steven, a photographer and lighting consultant, living on a farm in Alentejo , Portugal.
Because of our professions, sometimes we need to travel, and we need someone to stay at the farm and feed the animals when we are away. We live in super mobile homes, and that would be the accomodation. If you are interested , you should have your own income, as you can live here full time, and only stay with the dogs and feed the anilamls, once in a while, when we are away. Also, minor farm managment , at the same time. Due to the isolation , probably it is better for 2 people.
Our soil is poor, and we are trying to regenerate it , so if you are interested in farm work, building, then we could discuss a salary. You can share the use of the car, while staying at the farm.
We have 3 super friendly dogs, 12 chickens and fish in the aquaponics , that also need to be fed. We have a veggie garden and several fruit trees.
We are 5km from Santiago do Cacém , in a place called Mulinheta, that does not exist on Google, but you can search our farm, SARDINE & KANGAROO, and you will see us. We are 20m from the beach, and very close to amazing surf spots. and 1,20 H from Lisbon.
Isabel is Portuguese, grew up in Mozambique and Steven is Australian. We love to have people around and connect thru diverse cultural enviroments.

WE are a Portuguese/African/Australian couple living on a farm, on a very specific cultural enviroment, either local, with the Alentejo people, either with the amazing comunity we are building from all over the world, and that chose this part of the world to settle , buy land, and do incredible projects.

Aide
We need helpers to stay at our farm, and be present to the animals , 3 friendly dogs, when ever we are away. Feed the chickens and fish twice a day. We provide accomodation on a cozy mobile home. Electricity, water, internet and gaz included.
Basically, we want to be free to go out of the farm, even on short notice, as our professions are demanding on travelling.
If there is farm work included, then we can talk about payment.

Mobile Home, with 3 bedrooms, Kitchen, WC, outside deck, fire pit.
Double glazed windows and heater for the Winter and for the Summer, we just open windows for brise to run.
You must enjoy animals, and farm life, because there is all the occasional farm insects that live with us.
Otherwise, I can say, it is just paradise.

Our dogs are farm dogs, so far we had no issues with other also friendly dogs, but cats , would be very risky 😜
