Description
A wonderfully unique opportunity (but, not for everyone) :
We're a well-established intentional community, based on mindfulness and conscious living, in the mountains between Santa Fe and ABQ, New Mexico. Music, theater, performing arts, creative projects, healthy living/wellness, meditation, spiritual growth and intentional movement are all cornerstones of our existence.
Keywords that describe our chosen way of living: Laughter, kindness, respect to all, enthusiasm, organic, fun, inspiring, and collaborative. We're focused on becoming our best selves so that we can better be of service to others.
We'd welcome folks interested in experiencing our community...who enjoy participating in and helping with
a variety of projects in a positive and creative environment!
** Please note that all work exchange tasks are taking place in our private home and garden. We are no longer offering paid opportunities as our business has been closed due to Covid.

The opportunity to participate in a thriving, well-established intentional community with deep roots. Community activities are open to all and have included: meditation, moving meditation, sacred dance, yoga, art, creative writing, Tarot, astrology, drum n' dance, musical instruction on a variety of instruments, crafting, puppetry, making jewelry...dreamcatchers etc. (Community members, as musicians and entertainers, have performed over 2,500+ shows throughout North America to Europe...from Tanzania to Thailand to India...and look forward to hearing your stories from places you've been!!!)

We are always juggling a myriad of projects....and enjoy aligning the best projects with the best individuals offering to help.Projects vary from day to day but may include include house cleaning, painting, maintenance/construction projects in our home, landscaping , or helping in the kitchen/harvesting greenhouse goodies.

With 310 days of sunshine & wide open skies, New Mexico has a FEEL that is difficult to describe. A few of the things that contribute to that feel is that you can explore: 1. the many vibrant Native American Tribes and nations; their arts & and cultures 2. Santa Fe (the oldest capital city in North America) home to the Santa Fe Opera, Georgia O'Keefe Museum and the George R.R. Martin Meow Wolf Experience... 3. ABQ which is ranked among the top 3 cities for the T.V. and Film industry...and home of The International Balloon Fiesta... 4.the mountains with countless hiking trails with some incredible hot springs as well. 5. plus, an unbelievable variety of nature to explore ~from Petroglyph National Monument to Tent Rocks to White Sands, Chaco Canyon to Taos...etc.

We loved our time here. It was similar to a summer camp for adults. They had lots of activities that we could participate in (Kirtan, games, writing class and more). We stayed a month and could have stayed longer:) We hope to be back someday!
