Hello!

I’m in Colombia volunteering with local nonprofits and looking for opportunities to put my skills to use, particularly in social and sustainable tourism focusing on traditional arts, crafts. I’m passionate about supporting projects that have a positive, lasting impact on the surrounding community and culture. I am happy to bring my skill sets to the project or to just roll up my sleeves & get my hands dirty. (I actually love getting my hands dirty!! :-)

I have a broad background, having had the chance to live in numerous countries and explore a few different career paths. However, through it all, my core values have remained the same: I believe that through collaboration, diverse mindsets, and creative thinking, we can accomplish almost anything. Maybe I’m a dreamer, but my philosophy generally (though not always!) seems to pay off.

I’ve worked across the corporate, non-profit, and arts sectors, with storytelling as the common thread—whether in marketing campaigns, fundraising, community engagement, or creative projects.

As an artist I lean towards place making & sculpture. My training is in textiles. I am particularly interested in working with & learning natural & traditional materials & techniques.

Aside from work, I am a lover of new experiences, meeting new people, slow meals with great conversations, learning, nature, hiking, the arts, yoga & architecture. I am enjoying learning Spanish, but let’s just say I’m more enthusiastic than academic ;-)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My background is in Marketing development which means creating business strategies & designing campaigns, outreach, events, integrated marketing, community building.

I have just spent 10 years in the non-profit sector developing programs for funding , writing grants & developing working partnerships across the community.

Both of the above included a lot of project management.

I went to art school & specialized in textile & surface design so I can be pretty hands on & creative.

I love to indulge my OCD by developing systems & creating spreadsheets.

I am digitally literate & tech comfortable enough to work things out with applications.
