Description

Hi! We're Emilio, Samantha, Eva (7), and our friendly cat, Negrito. Since December 2024 we've been travelling full-time in our motorhome across Turtle Island (USA + CAN), spending the past year exploring Vancouver Island through house sitting, volunteer exchanges, and community living while searching for the place we'll eventually call home.

Together we bring a diverse mix of practical and creative skills. Emilio enjoys carpentry, repairs, off-grid systems, technology, gardening, and building projects. We have owned a professional organizing business since 2012. Samantha also brings experience in hospitality, cooking, gardening, yoga, music, art, photography, community facilitation, and outdoor education. Eva loves animals, helping with daily chores, creating art, and spending her days outside exploring.

We genuinely enjoy contributing wherever we're needed—whether that's stacking wood, caring for animals, cooking communal meals, organizing spaces, harvesting gardens, building trails, painting, cleaning, documenting projects, or simply lending an extra pair of capable hands.

We value clear communication, mutual respect, and leaving every place a little better than we found it.

We're looking for meaningful exchanges rather than simply accommodation. Our approach is one of high intention and low attachment: arriving with curiosity, working hard, learning from others, and building authentic relationships along the way. If it feels like a mutual fit, we'd love to connect.
