  Description

  Hello,
  
  We are a family of four (three humans and one cat) living on a farm in Hørte, Norway.
  
  We have just started our business producing ecological strawberries! This is mainly what we need help with during the season May-July where we need help to harvest and maintenance).
  
  Other than the strawberry plants we do have a greenhouse where we plant cucumber, tomatoes, capsicum and chili.
  
  We also have some vegetables in our field (potatoes, carrots, salad +++)
  
  On our farm we have heaps of projects. We can agree together what you can assist with here on our farm based on your interests and competence.
  
  We live close to Evju Bygdetun with many historical buildings and Hørteelva (creek) with many beautiful swimming spots and cliff jumping. Here you can also fish and do kayaking/paddle boarding. There are also plenty of beautiful hikes and things to do in the area. We live on the countryside but it is not far away from Bø in Telemark. If you like bouldering and climbing there are also several options here to do this as well, and good community. We also live close to Lifjell with many hiking possibilities and skiing/offpiste during winter.
  
  At our place you will get your own room and we will have all meals together. We can host up to two people.
  
  About us:
  My name is Marit and I am 33 years old working as a project leader. I love travelling and have been backpacking in my younger days and love to get to know people from other cultures. I am interested in gardening, animals, hiking, cooking and baking.
  
  Arnfinn is 44 years old and student (electrical engineer). Arnfinn loves training, farm live, carpentry , fishing
  
  Terje is our 4 year old son and LOVES soccer, bicycling, climbing, swimming, fishing
  
  «Pus» is our cat (age not known). He loves cuddles on his own premises and walks and goes as he please.

  Aide

  We mainly need help with our ecological strawberry field (harvesting and maintenance) during May-July. Wage: NOK 156,- (minimum wage for people over 18 years) and NOK 136 for people below 18 years.
  
  We also have other tasks that we would appreciate assistance with, such as weeding, planting (ecological), building projects etc. but this will not be paid activity. We can agree together what will suit best for you based on your experience and interests.

  Hébergement

  You will stay in our house and get your own room (double bed - for two people).
  
  You will get all meals and can eat with us :-) we usually have breakfast, lunch, dinner (3 meals)
