  Welcome to Our Home in Cumbre del Sol, Benitachell
  
  Hello! We’re excited to open our home to Workawayers looking for a mix of cultural immersion and natural beauty. Nestled high on the scenic Cumbre del Sol in Benitachell, our home offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and the peaceful atmosphere of Spain’s Costa Blanca.
  
  We share this lovely space with our two friendly dogs, who are always happy to meet new people. The area enjoys mild, sunny weather most of the year—perfect for outdoor activities and relaxed living.
  
  Benitachell is a small village with deep cultural roots, local traditions, and a strong sense of community. Just a short drive away are the beautiful seaside towns of Moraira and Jávea, known for their beaches, markets, and charming old towns.

  As an Irish-English family living in Spain, we offer a calm and welcoming environment with a blend of cultures. We enjoy sharing everyday life and are happy to chat about our experiences living abroad, the differences between Irish, English, and Spanish customs, and what we’ve learned along the way. Workawayers will also have the opportunity to experience the rhythm of life in a small Spanish village, where local traditions and events offer a window into the region’s culture. We’re always curious to learn about other people’s backgrounds, and we value the mutual exchange of perspectives that comes from hosting.

  We’re looking for Workawayers to help out with gardening, DIY and light house help . In return, you’ll have a comfortable place to stay and the opportunity to explore one of the most picturesque and welcoming areas of Spain.
  
  If you’re friendly, reliable, and enjoy nature, animals, and a slower pace of life, we’d love to hear from you!

  We live in a cozy villa located on the beautiful Cumbre del Sol, in the tranquil village of Benitachell. The villa has a separate guest apartment that offers privacy and comfort. The apartment includes a small but well-equipped kitchen, a living area, a bedroom, and its own bathroom — perfect for independent living during your stay.
  
  Though the apartment is compact, it’s thoughtfully furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay and self-catering. The modest garden surrounding the villa provides a peaceful setting to relax and enjoy the sunny climate, with the Mediterranean just a short drive away.
  
  We aim to provide a welcoming space where you can feel at home, while also enjoying the natural beauty of the area and the cultural charm of the local village.

  Local Amenities on Cumbre del Sol
  
  While we live in a peaceful and somewhat isolated area on Cumbre del Sol, there are still a few key amenities within easy reach. The area offers a selection of essentials, including a supermarket, a pharmacy, and a small selection of restaurants and cafes. These are ideal for picking up groceries, grabbing a quick bite, or enjoying a coffee while taking in the stunning views.
  
  For a more comprehensive range of amenities—such as larger supermarkets, shopping, and additional dining options—you can easily reach the village of Benitachell, just a short drive away. Moraira and Jávea, the famous coastal towns, are also within driving distance for a more extensive variety of shops, cafes, and activities.
  
  Due to our elevated location on Cumbre del Sol, we recommend that Workawayers rent a car. Public transportation options are quite limited up here, so having your own vehicle will make it much easier to access the amenities and explore the beautiful surroundings at your leisure. It’s the best way to fully enjoy your stay and make the most of the stunning Costa Blanca region.
