May was an absolute pleasure to host! During her stay with us, she helped with a wide variety of tasks including weeding flowerbeds, cleaning the barn, painting rooms and applying bottom paint on our boat, doing dishes, splitting firewood, and clearing branches after an ice storm. She approached each job with care, enthusiasm, and a constant

May is not only hardworking and reliable, but also brought such a positive energy to our home. She was a joy to be around and got along wonderfully with both people and animals—our cat Mya in particular formed a special bond with her and will certainly miss her!
We wish May all the best on her travels and hope to see her again—either back at our place or perhaps one day in Japan. She’ll always be welcome here.

"I spent the final chapter of my life in Canada here, for about a month and a half. There was a variety of work to do, so I was never bored. Even though there was lots of work, there was still plenty of time to relax! Most of the work was garden-related — picking up branches, pulling weeds, organizing things, cleaning the horse barn, and painting the walls of a room.
The most fun and my first job here was painting a boat (I think?) and chopping firewood for the next winter!
Chantal also gave me so many chances to meet people and have amazing experiences on my days off! She took me to house parties, we spent days on the boat, went out for ice cream, and had campfires using the branches we collected.
All of these were truly special memories. Going to an island by boat and sleeping overnight on it — I could never have imagined that in my life! haha
I wonder if I’ve forgotten anything… Anyway, I just want to tell all future workers that Chantal is a super friendly and absolutely amazing host.

I stayed with Chantal and her family for 2 and a half weeks and had a great time. I had different tasks during that time and could work on my own pace. She took me to Halloween walks, a fall market and a hockey game. I would definitely recommend staying with her, she makes sure you feel welcome and that you have a great time. The two dogs are also

In enjoyed my stay very much! C. made a great effort both to make me feel at home and teach me about her life in rural Canada. I participated in family life, house chores, learned to make bread and sewing... I certainly hope to come back! :-)

I worked for Chantal for 1 week. It was my first Workaway experience and it was amazing!
I had to work in the garden and prepare everything for the fall. It was easy work and I could divide my day individually.
They even took me on their boat and tried to show me as much as possible on the weekend. I'll always remember this beautiful trip.

I had such an amazing experience at Chantal's place! Corey and Chantal gave me the real Canadian experience during the two weeks I was with them, welcoming me into their family. We got along very well and I am very grateful for my time with Chantal, Corey, Alex, Matthew, the dogs, horses and cat. I'd definitely recommend spending some time with them during your travels!Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

I spend almost 2 weeks at Chantals home and I had a really fun and relaxing time. The work was really not that much or exhausting and I had a lot of time to walk or bike to the lakes near by. Also Chantal and Corey are such fun, easy going and welcoming people. They also took me on a 3 days Boattrip what I really enjoyed. Thank you so much :)

Ikuko was a pleasure to host. She’s a very sweet girl and works very hard without having to be asked, she sees what’s needed and goes ahead and completes the jobs. She was with us for 5 weeks during the summer which was perfect to bring her with us on our Yacht and show her the Thousand Islands. Any future hosts will be lucky to have her !

We stayed in Moscow House for two weeks and we enjoyed it very much. We experienced so many Canadian things such as mudding (driving squads in the mud) and eating an air fried turkey and poutine!
