  Description

  We are a family of 3 with a dog, chickens and two cows looking for ideally a couple to help us out with some projects on our rural land and some cleaning up after our recent floods. We have a lovely self contained cottage to offer Workaway people and a lovely rural setting close to beaches and hills in a close community with lots on offer!

  We are a classic New Zealand rural family with one 3-year-old girl and a 3-year-old Vizsla dog. We can tell you all about our region and set you on some great adventures.

  Aide

  We would like some help cleaning up after the recent floods. We had some trees down and need some chipping and raking and clearing of drains. We would also like some help with a few handy jobs and some tree planting so any experience in this area would be great.

  Hébergement

  We offer a self-contained two-bedroom cottage. This has a lovely pot belly fire to keep you cosy as well as heaters and electric blankets. This cottage is renovated to a pretty high standard, as it's usually on a rental platform when not hosting volunteers.
  
  We will supply ingredients for Workaway people to cook for themselves, or we are happy to negotiate a reduced workload for you to prepare your meals with your own ingredients. It doesn't work to have shared meals as the cottage is self-sufficient and stand alone and also we have our dinner at 5:30 pm as we have a 3-year-old and most people woun't want this! :)
