Description
Hello.:) My name is Rebecca and my husbands name is Richard. We are a young Slovakian family of four, we have a two year old daughter Ziya and a just born little son Manuel. We own and live on a big land (8h) surrounded by beautiful Forrest. We call our place little big paradise and we are helping on making it even more beautiful here. We live in a tiny House that Richard has build for us and help with the land in permaculture principles. We try to grow part of the food (from spring to autumn) that we eat. We also planted many different fruit and other kinds of trees (it is one of my husbands biggest joys). We have three rescue horses, chickens, two dogs and two cats. And soon we will have the newest addition to our little homestead two jersey cows so we can have our own milk and dairy products and we are also getting two bee hives. :) We believe that living in nature and with nature, growing our own food , loving and living in partnership with our animals is the right way of being and the right way to raise our children. We would love if some likeminded people would join us to share everyday life with us and to help on projects that we would like to bring into reality . :)

We will share help on our projects together, sharing our skills, meals together, sometimes we can make fire, hot chocolate , some songs and guitar play and talk about anything and everything. :) We will share everyday life with you and we are looking forward to exchange experiences and become friends. :))

The help really varies from day to day. Sometimes there can be more to do and it will be more structured, othertimes less. The idea is to help us 5 hours a day 5 days in a week, two days are for relaxation and exploring of the surrounding. :) Nature here is very beautiful so you can enjoy hikes, we can advice you where you can find lakes to swim in or which towns you can explore. My husband studied gardening and principles of permaculture and is a handy builder so you can learn a Lot in these topics. I studied midwifery, love and care for our children and home and animals. I also believe I am a great cook. :) You will get three delicious homemade meals a day (we eat meat but only from local sources and we can always have vegetarian/vegan options) 7 days a week and you can sleep in a Nice older caravan/tiny House with a little kitchen as well in case you want to cook for yourself sometimes. Toilet is dry and it is outdoors, but very close to the caravan. Showers are outside heated by solar energy. You can also wash your clothes in washing machine. The minimum stay is 7 days, we prefer longer stays. Before we had children we did many workaways around the world and we loved it very much so hopefully we can pass on our great experiences and also experiences from living off grid with nature, our children and animals and creating this little big beautiful life of ours.:) We are excited to meet you soon, if you would like to join us or if you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to message us. :)

We speak slovak and are fluent in english, we are happy to learn german, spanish or other languages too. :))
Hébergement
As accomodation we offer older but very Nice tiny House with a little kitchen and a fireplace where you can make fire on colder days. :) There is two separate rooms, so you will have privacy. We offer blankets, clean sheets, towels. You can also wash your clothes in washing machine. There is also a dry toilet right in front of the tiny House and the shower is also outside, heated with solar energy. We live in another tiny House 200meter away.
We will offer food 7 days a week, three main meals. We eat homemade meals, we are not vegetarian but if we consume meat it is always from local source. We can provide vegetarian/vegan options if needed.
Autres infos...
During your time of you can visit nearby towns for example Banská Štiavnice which is one of our most favorite cities, there is beautiful lakes to swim in them too. There is many places for hikes and for relaxation in nature here.
On arrival We can pick you up at some bigger city for example Zvolen and take you to the nearest bus stop on your days off. Or you can always join us when we go to the city. :)
