  Description

  My name is Marta, I am a teacher but right now I am at home taking care of my three daughters. My partner works in the construction crane Industry. We are a family of five with a very friendly dog. His name is Otto and we rescued him a year ago.
  We live in a little town on Vancouver island, Canada. Our beautiful home is on an acreage surrounded by nature (forest, rivers, lakes..). It is a super quiet and beautiful property. Five minutes driving from our little town.
  We love being in nature and most outdoor activities (canoeing, hiking, camping, taking our boat out, paddle boarding, fishing..) We are a happy, active, healthy living family and would love to share our home with someone with the same values.

  There are numerous activities where you can take the children while working and connect with other people. There is abundant hiking, camping, cycling, fishing, water sport opportunities in our area.
  During your free time, there are a few cities where you can go to join different activities like theatre, cinemas, museums, galleries, gardens, or sports and/or wellness groups (depending on your interest). I could help you to figure out some activities and groups to join even before coming to work with us to make sure that you will have things to do while not working.

  Aide

  We are in need of a nanny/au pair. We have a two year old daughter and six month old twin girls. Currently, I am not working. I'm at home taking care of my girls but I need help with the day to day.
  Ideally, I would like someone to take my oldest to do activities (pool, playground, play dates with friends). We would also do things together (with myself and the babies) like picnics, petting farm, and day trips around Vancouver Island and the Mainland.
  I will need help supervising the babies while I put my oldest to nap and bedtime if my partner is not back from work.
  We are a bilingual family (Spanish and English). If you speak a different language we would love our daughters to hear it.
  It would be also great if you can help with basic house maintenance and cleaning ((this is not a housekeeper job)).

  We would love to expose our daughters to a third language. We don't expect you to teach it to them, also the girls are very small for it, but we would love if you could talk to them in your language.

  Hébergement

  We offer a private room with a bathroom shared partially with our oldest daughter. She uses our bathroom but she has some of her bathroom stuff in the bathroom that you will be using.
  Your bedroom has three windows which provides beautiful light. All the windows have blackout curtains. There is a double bed with a night table and a small shelf unit, a dresser, an antique barrel chair, lamp, TV and walking closet. I'm planning on adding a full body mirror as well.
  The bedroom also has a baseboard heater which can be regulated independently from a panel in your room.
  
  We live in a big house with extra outdoor space. The house has 6 rooms (3 bedrooms, a playroom, an office and a reiki room), living room, dining room, solarium, laundry room, mud room and kitchen. We have front and back decks with sitting space; backyard and playground for the girls.
  
  Regarding the meals. You could eat from the meals that we prepare or prepare your own food if you prefer it. My husband is meat eater, but the girls and myself are pescatarian and even though we live in Canada, we follow as much as possible a Mediterranean diet.

  We don't drink or smoke, so that is definitely a requirement for us. We, sometime seat together and have a glass of wine but very rarely.
  We don't party and we are very quiet and respectful people so we ask for the same.
