Description
Hi, we are a friendly family of four looking for an extra pair of hands helping out around the house with general household duties and doing some odd tasks around the house, such as gardening, minding chickens, minding dogs etc. We live in the countryside, in a lovely community. A short walk to the bus to Galway city which is 25miles. We will take couples travelling together. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Aide
We are a busy family and work long house so need some help with daily chores. We have some projects to complete outside, for example gardening, odd tasks around house and dog minding. This placement best suits a couple looking for an opportunity to improve their English, who enjoy nature and ideally travelling with a car from Europe.

En suite room with double bed. Meals included, dinner together in the evenings. Would suit a couple best as you are alone alot during the day. As transport in Ireland is not very frequent and expensive it would be recommended to travel with a car.It allows you to enjoy all that Ireland has to offer with greater freedom

We both work during the day so you are by yourself in the house during the day, therefore it is quiet. Great place if you like the countryside. 5k walk to the village, shop, chemist, local pub. Bus to Galway city 0.5 mile walk. As transport in the countryside in Ireland is infrequent and expensive it would best suit someone who was travelling with a car to best enjoy all that Ireland has to offer. I spent a week with Hazel's family.
My work consisted mainly of household chores, weeding and looking after the chickens.
I felt very welcome in the family from the first moment.
The highlight was the lovely family evening with singing, dancing and comedy performances by the children and the card game afterwards.

We had a great time staying with Hazel and Ronan. I stayed there with a friend for 2 weeks, the house is surrounded by grasslands, woods and lots of green (like most of Ireland).
