  Description

  Hello there my name is James.
  I am a passionate gardener and have lived in Provence for 35 years. I am outgoing and social. My native language is English but I also speak both French and Spanish pretty well. I worked as an auctioneer with both Sotheby’s and Christie’s among other things.
  Life without a project isn’t life…so I am always working on something. I paint ( oils and watercolours) sculpt in stone and generally have a garden or house scheme on going.Primarily couples are most welcome.

  Soy un jardinero apasionado y he vivido en Provenza durante 35 años. Soy extrovertido y sociable. Mi lengua materna es el inglés, pero también hablo francés y español bastante bien. Trabajé como subastador tanto en Sotheby's como en Christie's, entre otras cosas.
  
  La vida sin un proyecto no es vida... así que siempre estoy trabajando en algo. Pinto (óleos y acuarelas) esculpir en piedra y generalmente tengo un esquema de jardín o casa en marcha. Principalmente las parejas son las más bienvenidas.

  La vie sans projet n'est pas la vie... donc je travaille toujours sur quelque chose. Je peins (huiles et aquarelles) sculptées dans la pierre et j'ai généralement un plan de jardin ou de maison en cours. Principalement, les couples sont les bienvenus.

  There’s so much to see and do in the area a year wouldn’t be enough time to enjoy it all.
  I have bikes and the nearest village is only 4kms away. There’s great walking locally and I have a swimming pool (0pen May to September). Travellers will experience the way of life in Provence, local markets, brocante and much more.

  Hay tanto que ver y hacer en la zona que un año no sería tiempo suficiente para disfrutarlo todo.
  
  Tengo bicicletas y el pueblo más cercano está a solo 4 km de distancia. Hay un gran paseo por la zona y tengo una piscina (0pen de mayo a septiembre). Los viajeros experimentarán la forma de vida en Provenza, mercados locales, brocante y mucho más.

  Il y a tellement de choses à voir et à faire dans la région qu'une année ne serait pas assez de temps pour tout apprécier.
  
  J'ai des vélos et le village le plus proche n'est qu'à 4 km. Il y a de bonnes promenades locales et j'ai une piscine (de mai à septembre). Les voyageurs découvriront le mode de vie en Provence, les marchés locaux, les brocantes et bien plus encore.

  My home is situated in the foothills of Les Alpilles just 4km from the centre of St Rémy. There are many beautiful walks from the house. And trekking in the local hills is wonderful.
  Ideally placed for exploration of the principal sights of Provence.There are bikes available too.Best option is that you have a car.
  
  Ma maison est située dans les contreforts des Alpilles, à seulement 4 km du centre de St Rémy. Il y a beaucoup de belles promenades depuis la maison. Et la randonnée dans les collines locales est merveilleuse.
