Description
We need volunteers for our Learning Centre, which provide free education and Learning opportunity to Underprivileged Children.
We does not have any review after 2020 because we closed our centre because of covid and now we restart our centre from April 2025.
So you can apply and we love to host you. Mainly parents of These children's are doing daily wages job.(Some are labours,some are doing cleaning in homes, and some are watch men in school or universities etc.
We are a non- profit organisation that works towards the upliftment of the weaker sections of the society. Our main motive is to provide opportunities to children for their overall development.
We got registered in 2016 and at that time we worked with various poor or Underprivileged kids in Dehradun.
We went to their slums and gave knowledge and make them learn various things by different activities and workshops.
Since Jan 2018, we have hosted various volunteers from all over the globe, and they have helped us in our project.
Now, we are working with these kids and they regularly come for their evening classes (It's like an after school support programme) in which we assist them in solving their queries and volunteers take various skill classes.
like:- Dance, Art&Craft, Music, English Speaking, etc.
Other than this we work with children in their projects to enhance their skills. We also work with the kids by organising workshops and sometimes fete(or fair) and other events with their help, which enhances their creative and analytical thinking. Other than this; it helps them become a leader, a team person, a coordinator, a risk taker, a smart worker and a good communicator.
Our children have their own projects too.
By these projects, they learn different Management skills and they become a better Team Person.

From the children you can also learn many positive things, and explore more. We can share our culture and you can spend some time in our projects which are running in govt. schools of India, it can be a memorable experience for them and for you also.

We need volunteers who can help us in our projects and organization.
We are working on learning of children and supporting their school.
So volunteers should have a positive attitude towards children.
You can help children in evening classes, take english class and some other workshops like Dance, Music and Art&Craft, etc. and can also assist in doing their homework .
If you have skills of Videography and Photography, it will be great for us. It helps us to document all the things and children are also happy to see themselves on the screen.
You can also help us in making our website better and you can also write content for our Social Media Page and help us to make proposals.

Our centre is situated in dehradun just one hrs far from Rishikesh and 5 hrs from New delhi.
we are just 10 min away from Dehradun Bus Station.

We have different space for male and female volunteers in our volunteer house.
in which we have sharing Rooms for Volunteers with basic facilities.we provide you Bed, Bedsheets, Pillow, Blanket Etc.
In volunteer house we also provide you 24×7 water facility, we have filter water too.

Dehradun is very near to hilly and forest areas, here you can explore our culture and enjoy natural beauty too. Mussouri(Queen of Hills), Rishikesh(World Yoga Capital) and Haridwar(pilgrimage) are under 2 hrs of distance and cost less than 2$ to travel by public transport.
We are just 5 min walk away from highway and 10 min away from Bus stand , so you can go easily anywhere.
Whereas, there are many nearby tourist locations in Dehradun itself which can be accessed at very cheap rates through public transport(eg. FRI,Aasan baaraj,Chakrata, Buddha Temple, Robber's Cave,etc).
We also do city walk in which you can explore old market of dehradun.

Hi, I volunteered a chess teacher for 10 days. I had good experience with the students who were eager to learn chess and communicate.
Its a great place to experience local culture, the best is to go eat momos for them dehradun is famous, to drink lasi in a secret place only local know and visit the tibetian budha temple in the city.

Our experience here was awesome. Jyoti and the other guys made us feel very comfortable and they were ready to help us in anything we need. They also took us on some excursions. The experience with the children was also very good, they were really nice and joyful. We stayed for 10 days and we won’t forget our time there. We totally recomend it.
