Live in pet sitter while exploring Edmonton, Canada

  I am a teacher who needs a pet sitter in downtown Edmonton Alberta
  You would be a live in caretaker for two cats
  2 cats, ages 7 and 8, very affectionate, need to be brushed for 5-10 minutes each and played with every day. Litter needs to be scooped every day and canned food is given in morning and in evening with kibble always available. Treats are given at 8 pm every night. I am looking for live-in only. You would be expected to be available for a quick video call at the apartment every 3 days at a scheduled time agreed upon before the pet sitting begins.
  
  
  Ground floor apartment in apartment building, very close to public transit. Street parking is available and safe. There is one space for the sitter's car in the secure basement parking but their car must be registered by the apartment's owner - friends cannot park there, just the sitter. Grocery stores, restaurants and lively cafés are close by, with an ice cream shop across the street. This apartment is two blocks from the extensive river valley hiking trail network and many parks. 15 minute bus ride to the University of Alberta. 10 minute bus ride to downtown Edmonton, 45 minute bus ride to West Edmonton Mall, and 30 minute bus/train ride to Whyte Avenue.

  Pet sitting dates are September 9th to 17th, 2026. We would spend time on the 9th together so I could introduce you to the pets and the house and then I would leave the next morning.

  There is a single bed for you to use.
  The building is 100% smoke-free including patios and balconies and any drug or heavy alcohol use in the apartment or on the patio is forbidden.
