    Description

Hello Everyone! Great to see you here. My name is Edy, and I’m an artist dedicated to transforming plastic waste into meaningful art. By using plastic waste as our primary material, we aim to amplify awareness about its negative impact on our precious planet as well as its benefits while we turn them into something else.

Before we dive further, let me share a bit about myself. I’m Edy, from Berastagi, Medan, North Sumatra. For over 20 years, I've traveled throughout Indonesia, leading campaigns on environmental education, arts, organic farming, and home industries. Currently, I’m based in the beautiful village of Cinta Karya, in Cikubang, Parigi, Pangandaran, West Java.

In this village, we’re taking our work in exciting new directions that combine adventure, education, and environmental stewardship. I'm collaborating with two amazing individuals, Jaka Permana and Juni Marlina, who are helping bring this vision to life.

Our mission here is to continuously innovate by turning different types of waste into beautiful art. Beyond that, we’re also involved in organic farming, carpentry, empowering locals to sustainably use nearby natural resources, creating educational content, and engaging in community projects like beach and environmental cleanups. We’re also in the planning process of building a unique treehouse made entirely from waste materials – a perfect spot to relax, connect with nature, and learn.

This place is a true hidden gem. Surrounded by lush forests, blue colored rivers, and numerous caves, it’s ideal for anyone with a spirit of adventure!

One more thing, your might want to bring your visa during your visitation as it will need to be approved by the village Headman for administrative purposes. Please also note that all activities conducted during the work will be documented for educational purposes and shared online in the form of short documentary videos.

Let’s join together to make our Earth smile! 😊

I love meeting people from around the world because it allows us to appreciate the rich diversity of cultures. Through these exchanges, we can broaden our perspectives, become more open to differences, and learn about the unique values each of us holds. Culture is wonderfully vast, and language is, of course, a big part of it. Let’s share knowledge by learning each other’s languages and getting to know one another better!

    Guest House

Our guest house is located beside a stunning blue river (yes, it’s truly blue!). It features two private rooms, each with its own bathroom, and two unique kitchen options: a modern kitchen and a traditional kitchen, where guests can enjoy experiencing village-style cooking.

Electricity is powered by our solar panels. Since we’re about 1km from the village, Wi-Fi is not currently available at the guest house, but you’re welcome to use Wi-Fi at our other house in the village whenever needed.

We provide three meals daily, based on available ingredients. No worries – we happily accommodate vegetarian and vegan diets. Meals are free, and we cook together as a family! We’d love to share in learning each other’s favorite dishes.
