    Description

    ¡Hola! Hi! Salut! Oi! Ciao!

Welcome to our regenerative farm in the beautiful heart of Costa Rica 🌞

We are a heart-centered community creating a more sustainable lifestyle in harmony with nature. Our farm includes organic gardens for daily food, a food forest with 100+ fruit trees, a bamboo forest for natural construction, and a protected secondary forest with trees over 50 years old.

We especially welcome long-term volunteers (1 month or more) who want to truly experience community life, learn practical skills, and connect with nature.

    Food & Accommodation 🌱

We provide nourishing, mostly plant-based meals, often prepared with ingredients grown on the farm. Accommodation is simple, comfortable, and surrounded by nature — a peaceful space to rest and recharge.

    Learning & Well-being 🌸

Volunteers can learn about permaculture, organic gardening, agroforestry, and eco-construction. We also value balance and may offer activities such as:
    • yoga
    • meditation
    • nature connection
    • cultural exchange

    Skills we especially appreciate ✨

We are currently looking for people who can support with:
    • natural / eco-construction
    • improving our online presence (website, social media, content creation)
    • forest mapping & land documentation (Spanish fluency required)

We also host Permaculture Design Courses, Spanish Immersion programs, and other learning experiences.

If you enjoy community living, meaningful work, and a healthy lifestyle close to nature, we would love to connect with you 🌿

    ¡Pura vida!

    Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre

We believe the best learning happens through hands-on experience. Our project focuses on Sustainability and Regeneration, and volunteers take part in real daily processes such as growing food, experimenting with healthy recipes, and building structures with natural materials like wood and guadua bamboo.

Living together is also an opportunity to explore more conscious ways of cohabitating, practicing respectful communication, collaboration, and mutual support.

Well-being is part of our lifestyle. Depending on the moment, we may share activities such as forest walks, yoga, meditation, dancing, bodywork or massage exchanges, and other practices that support physical, emotional, and spiritual balance.

We truly value cultural exchange and believe everyone has something meaningful to share. Living together creates space to exchange skills, ideas, stories, and perspectives from different parts of the world.

If you are curious about sustainability, community living, and personal growth, this experience can inspire new ways of living and relating 🌸

Our days usually begin around 6:00 am and we tend to go to sleep early (9:00–10:00 pm). Farm life follows the rhythm of nature, with fresh mornings and quiet evenings.

We are currently working on building our learning center, using natural materials sourced directly from the land. The structure combines wood from the farm, guadua bamboo, and other ecological materials. Volunteers interested in eco-construction can gain hands-on experience in natural building techniques while contributing to a meaningful long-term project.

We are also looking for volunteers who can support with:
    • eco / natural construction
    • improving our online presence (website, social media, photography, content creation)
    • forest mapping & land documentation (Spanish fluency required)
    • gardening, agroforestry, and general farm tasks

Daily life includes shared responsibilities such as helping prepare meals, cleaning common spaces, watering plants, managing compost, and organizing recycling. We value collaboration and a positive, proactive attitude.

Many activities are physical, and the farm is located in the mountains with some steep paths. Working outdoors is part of the experience.

Living in community also requires respect, communication, and emotional awareness. We care about creating a supportive environment where every relationship matters.

Our farm is rich in biodiversity. It is common to encounter insects, spiders, birds, butterflies, and other wildlife. We are located at about 1,200 meters above sea level, so weather can vary between sunny, rainy, foggy, and sometimes cool, especially at night.

We recommend bringing appropriate clothing for rain, humidity, and cooler evenings, as well as openness to living close to nature.

Free time, local area & transport

During your time off, we invite you to slow down and enjoy the rhythm of nature. You might take a peaceful walk through the forest or visit the nearby village of La Flor to connect with local culture and daily life.

Our space is also ideal for creative time — you can read (we have a small library), journal, draw, practice music, or simply rest and recharge surrounded by nature.

The public bus stop is about a 10-minute walk from the farm, making it possible to explore independently. On weekends, many volunteers enjoy visiting beautiful places nearby such as Irazú Volcano, Guayabo National Monument, Duran Sanatorium, or Tapantí National Park.

If you have more time, you could also travel further to discover the Caribbean or Pacific coast, both accessible by public transport.

Whether you prefer adventure, culture, or quiet time, there are many ways to enjoy your experience in this region of Costa Rica 🌞
