Description
HOLAAA
We are an intercultural and interracial couple. My wife is an Afro-Colombian from the cost and I am a retired Swiss.
We are located in the heart of the coffee region EJE CAFETERO. Our pueblo MARSELLA-RISARALDA is is not so wellknown as Filandia or Salento, but it is indeed also one of the most beautiful old coffee villages of Colombia. Our Finca is a 10 cuadras (70’000m2) large traditional coffee farm with 35’000 coffee trees and 600 plantain-shrubs . It climbs up from 1400 meters above sea level 100 meter higher unto 1500 meters
We are converting parts of the finca it in a more natural place with lots of fruit trees, native plants, large completely natural spaces where one can watch birds and other animals, hiking trails, a camping next to a bamboo-forest.
We are considering reorienting the finca in accordance with the principle of Syntropic Farming, so that production is completely independent of fertilizers and sprays (even without organic).
Also we are pursuing various projects. We ferment wine and vinegar from our coffee cherries and oranges, make natural soap without harmful chemicals and artificial colors or perfumes and started recently to build with diy-aircrete.
DO YOU HAVE PARTICULAR SKILLS? See below what we are about to do.
The earth turns by itself and the climate changes without us. We are neighter "Corona's witnesses" nor do we want to save the world. We grant the plants the Co2, so that they can grow. We do not expect solutions from left or right, nor from red or green. But we are convinced that something big can grow from small beginnings. No stone is too small not to trigger an avalanche.
