  We are a french – german – speaking house-hold living about 300 meters from the Arros River with our our cats. This is extreme rural France. If you like a quiet life with practically no neighbors, this is for you.

  Learn about the local area.
  
  The small town of Marciac is 7 kilometers away. It has two or three cafes, three or four restaurants, a cinema and a few small shops. There is no public transportation. We are quite happy to lend you our bicycles or give you a lift into town.

  Aide

  We are looking for cheerful, energetic help from people who enjoy working outdoors. We prefer a minimum stay of at least one week. There is plenty to do. The tasks involves digging and other heavy work, a bit of house tasks on rainy days. The rest would involve general maintenance and odd tasks, cutting and stucking wood, sanding….

  To come here you would travel to Tarbes where we would meet you at Tarbes train station or Tarbes/Lourdes airport.
  
  But people with their own transport would be particularly well suited as we are out in the country and we can not always promise to take you on exploration trips.
