Description
We have a dream of living more slowly and intentionally — connected to the land, the animals, and the remarkable nature around us. Our values are ecological awareness, creative community and protecting the rare UNESCO Biosphere landscape we are lucky enough to call home.
Kasper took over the farm in April 2022, together with Camille and their three kids. The farm, built in 1825, sits on Østmøn — in the heart of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and one of Europe's finest Dark Sky areas. Camille moved to a small cottage nearby in autumn 2025 but remains a frequent and very welcome presence.
Life here is many things at once. Kasper produces content for the local community TV station broadcasting across Møn and Vordingborg — the station is based right here on the farm. He also works with young people on the autism spectrum, and has a background in sound design for film and theatre, including Stockholm Stadsteater. He has practiced yoga and Tai Chi for over 20 years. Camille is a certified Biosphere Ambassador, a leadership coach and an assistant professor in sustainable TV production. Between us there is a lot to share.
The farm is a place in active, slow development. We are building a garden shelter and outdoor kitchen, laying a pétanque court, and growing a Moon Garden — a Dark Sky garden for children, exploring what happens in nature after sunset. The vegetable garden is expanding year by year, and a new chicken coop is going up after we lost most of our flock to a fox. There are always projects on the go, but we move at the pace of the land.
On the farm you'll find 4 cats, 3 rabbits, two dogs (Obi & Stella) and two chickens — the start of a new flock.
Day-to-day life includes:
- Caring for animals (feeding, watering, cleaning stables)
- Tending the garden and harvesting fruits and berries
- Cooking together and sharing meals as a family
- Helping maintaining the outdoor spaces — shelter, kitchen, garden
- Contributing to the Moon Garden / Dark Sky Garden project
- ...and whatever else the season asks for
We try to reuse and recycle everything we can. Buying new is always the last resort.

This is a place with many layers. Kasper produces content for the local community TV station based on the farm — if you have an interest in film, sound, media or storytelling, that world is right here and there are natural ways to get involved and pick up real skills. He has a background in professional sound design for theatre and film, and is happy to share that knowledge with anyone curious about it.
Kasper has practiced yoga and Tai Chi for over 20 years and teaches both — if you want a daily practice or just want to understand the basics, that is genuinely on offer. He also works with young people on the autism spectrum, and conversations about inclusive pedagogy, neurodiversity and working with people tend to come naturally here.
Camille visits regularly and brings her knowledge as a certified Biosphere Ambassador. She can guide you into the landscape — the rare species, the dark sky, the coastal paths — in a way that goes well beyond a tourist map. Her work in sustainable media production and leadership coaching means there is depth to draw on if those fields interest you.
We are a Scandinavian household — Danish and Swedish roots, kids born in Denmark and Norway — and we love sharing that culture with people from elsewhere. Scandinavian cooking, language, traditions and the particular pace of life here on Møn are all part of the exchange. We are especially curious to learn from people who bring Portuguese or Italian into the house, but honestly, every culture that walks through the door teaches us something.
Living here, even for a few weeks, gives you a real sense of what it means to care for a historic place slowly and intentionally — to work with old materials, grow food, read the weather, and find rhythm in daily life on the land.
We hope you arrive with something of your own world — and leave with a little of ours.

We are looking for curious, hands-on people who want to genuinely become part of life on a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve for a while — not just visit it.
Day-to-day life might include feeding and caring for our animals, cooking together, tending the vegetable garden, harvesting fruit and berries for jam and preserves, and helping keep the farm tidy and alive. No two days are quite the same, and we adapt to the season and to what you bring with you.
There is also the chance to contribute to some of the ongoing projects in the garden — helping prepare beds in the Moon Garden, painting or light maintenance of doors and outbuildings, or lending a hand with the outdoor kitchen and shelter area. We work slowly, with whatever materials we already have.

Autres infos...
We spend time together in our garden and the trampoline is probably the kids favorite place outside. Tabletennis and tablefootball is also high on the list. Our kids are gamers so a lot of the time is spent on talking about games, movies and content.
We love beeing outdoors and spend a lot of time in the garden and around the farm. We also like to watch movies, play boardgames and do puzzles.
Local publictransport is 1,8km from the farm, with a bike you are close to the ocean, camønoen and Møns Klint.
Møn is overflowing with beautiful Nature! Stege, the main town on the island is 8 km from the farm.

this was my first workaway experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Kasper and Camille are some of the kindest, most helpful and generous people I‘ve ever met. They integrated me into their family from day one and showed me many practical things. I could always talk to them about everything.

Camille is very kind. I was not good at speaking English, but she always took care of me. When I couldn't catch a conversation, she aiways asked me if it made sense. And she explained to me what she wanted to say again.
