  Description

  I am Yu Fen, an experienced workawayer. I had various experiences in France as a workawayer for a year, and now I am enjoying a lot to be the host while I am living in Taiwan. It's the best way of experience the travelling while being at home. I had many experience on hosting people from couchsurfing and bnb as well. I started traveling and hosting people from all over the world with couchsurfing while I was 19 years old. If you are interested in, you could also check my profile on couchsurfing as well. I met incredible people and built friendships with them, it's something I always enjoy a lot and cherish about how lucky I am.
  I would be happy to host you for language and culture exchange. I love sharing and I can speak Mandarin, English, Italian and a little bit of French. I can teach you Mandarin for sure, I am a certificate teacher for teach Mandarin for foreigners, it's my hobby not my full time job, I teach Mandarin online sometimes when I have free time, as a hobby.
  I would like to improve my Italian and French also happy to learn new languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Japanese. I love learning language, enjoy different cultures and cusines. If you are interested in Taiwanese culture, local food, learning Mandarin, cooking, please feel free to contact me. Please let me know more about you and why you are interested in my workaway project. If possible I would like to have an online call to see if it's a good fit for both of us. I will reply all the messages even I can not host you.
  I am living in a quite and new area which is not far from Taipei city center, it's around 25 mins by metro to arrive to the Taipie Main Station. There is also bus station nearby. To go to the metro station 15 mins by foot, 5 mins by ubike. I work in Taipei city center and I usually work from Monday to Friday during the day, I used to meet workawayer up near my office after my work as well, the area near my office is quite cool and local, full of great foods, if you are interested I can show you around a bit. I also have many business trips to the States, Europe, Australia. We could spend time together after my work, if you would like to. I could show you around Taipei/Taiwan in my free time. You are also welcome to meet my friends, family etc. My family are all live in my hometown, in the middle of Taiwan, so if you are interested, when I go back to hometown you are welcome to join with me for sure. I am very flexible about what you could offer and what we could do together. If there is any project or event that you would like to creat together, we could talk about that and make that happens. (for example: small language exchange event, cooking event etc...) Let me know your ideas, we could always talk about it. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me.

  Would love to share with you about the Taiwanese culture and would like to know about your culture and language! If you are up to learn the language, culture, cusine etc. I like new ideas and love to try new things in my life, so if you have any ideas we could do together, that would be perfect.

  Aide

  Basically, helping on manage the apartment, cleaning, the apartment is not huge and it's pretty clean, there are not much tasks to do, so if there is any kinds of help you would like to offer, let me know what are you good at and what you are up to! I prefer someone who is proactive, clean, enjoy cooking, creative, respectful, chill and fun. We could spend a lot of time on language and culture exchange if you up to of course. We could even creat and hold some fun small events together. If you are a digital nomad, it's a good fit also. There is good wifi at home and cozy living room.
  I can share about what all the previous workawayers did:
  do laundry, fold clothes, wash dishes, throw trash, collect package, grocery shooping, clean and manage living room/bathrooms/kitchen/balcony, take care of the plants etc...
  If you have any idea, I prefer you let me know what do you like to do as well, and please let me know if you are not comfortable with doing anything. My purpose is to make you feel home here and enjoy your stay exploring Taiwanese culture and food.

  Hébergement

  I am living near by Taipei, it's an apartment with two rooms and two bathroom, one living room and one kitchen, one small balcony with clothes washing machine. You will have your own room and bathroom. We will be flat mate.
  
  We could go shopping together for the food, you could cook yourself or we could cook together. I prefer eat together while we can, but not necessarily everyday. I could be very busy sometimes. I can provide the ingredients/food, you can also buy your own food, depends on what you want. We could talk about it, please let me know what you are expecting. We could also hang out to eat local food/ local restaurants for sure! As what I mentioned I am quite flexiable, please let me know if there is anything you want or you don't want. Thank you so much.
